The USA Medical Alumni Association was honored to support our PhD students at the Whiddon College of Medicine's Graduate Research Forum on April 14th. It was a privilege to attend and provide the morning refreshments to kick off such an impressive showcase of student research.

Continuing a proud tradition! Yesterday afternoon, our rising M3 students picked up their very first white coats, provided by the USA Medical Alumni Association. When you become a member of the MAA, your dues directly fund meaningful annual traditions like this. We are grateful to the Office of Student Affairs for the opportunity to celebrate this professional milestone with our medical students.

Celebrating the future of medicine! On Friday, March 20, the USA Medical Alumni Association was honored to attend Match Day. Remarks were provided by MAA President Dr. Russell Goode, '10, to celebrate the hard work of our deserving medical students. We also extend our gratitude to SmartBank for providing the custom Match Day cookies for the celebration. Congratulations to the next generation of physicians!

The USA Medical Alumni Association was proud to host the 2026 Student Career Mixer on Tuesday, February 3, at the Strada Patient Care Center, bringing together over 60 Whiddon College of Medicine students and 32 physicians representing 25 unique specialties.

This annual event offers students a valuable opportunity to connect with medical alumni and area physicians, explore different career paths, and build meaningful professional relationships.

USA Whiddon College of Medicine alumni are invited to cheer on the Jags at a Whiddon COM tailgate on November 1st. Join the community for the USA Homecoming game against the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns. Find the tailgate on College Row at Hancock Whitney Stadium (near Lot 106, Space #9). Tailgating begins two hours prior to game kickoff.
