🌟 Resident Spotlight: Ms. Mildred

We are so proud to celebrate Ms. Mildred as this month’s Resident Spotlight here at Brookside. 💛

Ms. Mildred has called Brookside home for the past eight months, and she truly embraces everything our community has to offer. She loves the friendly neighbors, the sense of freedom, and the beauty that surrounds her each day.

Originally from Mobile, she attended Vigor High School and even had the unforgettable experience of seeing Elvis perform live. 🎶

Ms. Mildred enjoys playing bingo, staying active with her church, and spending her time helping others. Her life is rooted in faith, kindness, and connection.

She and her late husband shared over 50 years of marriage, and her greatest joy continues to be her family. She is blessed with four children, twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

A special memory she shares is that years ago, her grandson once said she would live at Brookside one day, and he was right.

We are honored to have Ms. Mildred as part of our community and grateful to celebrate her this month. 🌿

Some days bring sunshine and fresh air. Others arrive a little quieter, softened by rain and time spent indoors.

Those slower days are easy to overlook, but they offer something meaningful. They give us space.

Space to pause.
Space to reflect.
Space to simply be.
