Why basic labs miss what you're feeling.
Most standard blood tests are just snapshots.
Hormones are not static; they are not just standing around. They are Dynamic, moving, and buzzing all over the place.
Advanced hormone testing looks for patterns over time. So we can uncover root causes rather than guess.
When you understand your hormone patterns, everything finally makes sense.
If you have everbeen told your labs are normal. BUT you don't feel normal, there is a reason. There is advanced dynamic hormone testing that helps reveal what standard labe miss!!
Comment "labs" or "dm" me, and I'll explain how this works.

Doctors may say your symptoms are “normal for menopause”…
But normal isn’t the same as optimal.
You deserve clarity — not vague reassurance.
You deserve data — not dismissal.
✨ If there were a test that helped connect the dots for your symptoms,
would you want to know?
👇 Comment “TEST” or DM me “HORMONES” and I’ll share more.

Do you chew your food thoroughly? Do you chew fast and swallow your food in chunks? If you are not chewing food calmly and slowly and thoroughly this could indicate that your nervous system is disregulated.

Let's talk about one of my favorite foods, wild rice.
Wild rice is a nutritious whole grain that is often seen as a healthy alternative to other types of rice. Here’s a breakdown of its nutrition facts per one-cup serving (approximately 164 grams) of cooked wild rice:
Calories: About 166
Protein: Approximately 6.5 grams
Carbohydrates: Roughly 35 grams
Dietary Fiber: About 3 grams
Fat: Approximately 0.6 grams
Vitamins and Minerals:
- Manganese: Wild rice is particularly rich in manganese, which plays a role in bone formation and metabolism.
- Magnesium: Important for muscle function and energy production.
- Phosphorus: Essential for bone health and energy storage.
- B vitamins: Includes niacin, thiamine, riboflavin, and B6, which are crucial for energy metabolism and neurological health.
- Iron: Contributes to oxygen transport in the blood.
Other Benefits:
- Antioxidants: Wild rice contains phenolic acids and flavonoids, which have antioxidant properties that may protect cells from damage.
- Low Glycemic Index: It tends to have a lower glycemic index compared to other grains, making it beneficial for blood sugar control.
Remember that wild rice is also gluten-free, which makes it a great option for those with gluten sensitivities. It can be a versatile ingredient in various dishes, providing both nutritional value and culinary variety.

Statins and Menopause? Absolutely Connected!
If you’re a woman in perimenopause or menopause and you’re taking statins, chances are you’re feeling their effects. But should you even be on statins in the first place? Probably not—and here’s why.
During perimenopause and menopause, it’s common for total cholesterol levels to rise. Why? Because cholesterol plays a key role in hormone production.
Yes—you read that right: cholesterol is a precursor to hormones!
As hormone levels drop, the body naturally increases cholesterol production to help create more estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. This is a normal biological response—it’s how a woman’s body is designed to function during this phase of life.
So, what’s a “normal” cholesterol level during menopause?
Unfortunately, there are no well-established cholesterol ranges tailored to women over 40 going through menopause. But there should be.
In my experience, I often see cholesterol levels between 206 and 266 in healthy pre- and post-menopausal women who are eating well, exercising, and making smart lifestyle choices.
Is that normal? YES.
There’s a growing body of information supporting this natural rise in cholesterol during midlife.
So why are we still using cholesterol lab ranges based on data from 60-year-old men?
Because of outdated standards—and Big Pharma.
This keeps many women unnecessarily on statins, which can do more harm than good.
Instead, take control of your health. Learn what your hormone pathways look like—test your levels of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.
Understanding your unique hormonal picture can give you powerful insight and help guide conversations with doctors—especially if you’re being pushed toward statins.
End the crazy momma mayhem today! Have direct access to your functional lab test without a doctor visit or appointment.

The Eclectic Healing Room is a place where healing can begin. We use different modalities, individualized protocols and prayer. We firmly believe that God has designed the body to heal and he wants all his children to live a thriving life. You were wonderfully and beautifully created. Your body is your temple, it’s time to clean it and restore the beauty you have within.
It’s true, the body will naturally heal itself, if given the right condition to heal. If your body is not healing, tired, on too many prescriptions, passed from one doctor to another and told that there really is not anything more they can do, it is time to move forward. There is always hope and another way.
