Hello March!

As we step into a new month, we welcome March with hope, courage, and renewed commitment to recovery.

A new month is a fresh page not because everything magically changes overnight, but because we choose to keep showing up.

Recovery isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. It’s about getting back up, even when the week was hard. It’s about choosing freedom one day, one decision, one moment at a time.

March reminds us that seasons change. What felt cold, stuck, or dormant can begin to grow again. The same is true in recovery. Healing may feel slow. Growth may be quiet. But if you’re still here, still trying, still reaching for freedom you are moving forward.

This month, let’s focus on:
🌱 Consistency over intensity
🌱 Grace over guilt
🌱 Connection over isolation
🌱 Progress over perfection

If February was difficult, March is a new opportunity. If February was strong, March is a chance to build on it. No matter where you are today, you belong here.

Freedom is not just a destination it’s a daily practice. And every single day you choose recovery, you are choosing freedom.

Here’s to a new month of growth, strength, and continued recovery. We’re in this together. 💚

Full surrender doesn’t mean we have all the answers.

It doesn’t mean the pain makes sense.
It doesn’t mean we suddenly understand why things happened the way they did.

In recovery, surrender means trusting the process even when it’s uncomfortable. It means believing that growth is happening even on the hard days. It means choosing faith over fear, one step at a time.

Sometimes healing doesn’t feel good. Letting go doesn’t feel good. Facing truth doesn’t feel good.

But we’re learning that freedom isn’t found in control it’s found in trust.

Today, if it feels hard, you’re not failing. You’re growing.

Keep surrendering. Keep showing up. Keep trusting that God is still good even here.

Sometimes we don’t realize how much something is draining us until we finally step away from it.

If it constantly exhausted you…
If it left you anxious, overwhelmed, or doubting your worth…

If you felt lighter the moment it was gone…
Then it wasn’t meant to stay in your life.
Not everything we lose is a loss.
Some things are removed because they were quietly breaking us down.

Recovery teaches us to pay attention to our energy. What drains you repeatedly without growth, peace, or purpose is not aligned with your healing. Protecting your peace is not selfish it’s necessary.

Let this be your reminder:
If it drained you, it was meant to be removed.
Choose what restores you.
Choose what strengthens you.
Choose what brings freedom.
You deserve a life that feels lighter.

Tonight our Freedom Recovery Group Ministries had the opportunity to speak with the youth at Fork Baptist Church. We were honored to share about the dangers and consequences of drug and alcohol use, and to have open, honest conversations about the choices young people face every day.

We were especially blessed to hear powerful testimonies of hope, redemption, and lives changed. There is nothing more impactful than hearing how God can take brokenness and turn it into purpose.

Most importantly, tonight was about spreading the love of Jesus. Our prayer is that every student left knowing they are valued, loved, and never alone and that true freedom is found in Christ.

Thank you to Fork Baptist Church for welcoming us. We’re grateful for every opportunity to pour into the next generation.

Growth happens through connection.
The best way to help our Freedom Recovery community grow is simple: word of mouth. If this group has encouraged you, supported you, or helped you grow in your recovery journey, would you consider sharing that with someone else?

You never know who in your circle may be quietly struggling and just waiting for an invitation.

📣 Share our posts.
🤝 Invite a friend.
📅 If you come on Monday nights, bring someone with you.

Recovery isn’t meant to be done alone. Healing happens in community. When we show up for each other, we create a safe space where honesty, accountability, and hope can grow. Every new face strengthens our circle and reminds us that we’re not alone in this journey.

Let’s continue building a community where freedom grows, lives are restored, and support is always within reach.
Together, we grow.

Grateful today. Even in the moments we didn’t know what to pray or how to ask, God still showed up and over-delivered. 🙏

If you’re in recovery and feeling unsure or weary, let this be your reminder: God is working, even when you can’t see it yet.

Today isn’t just about romantic love it’s about self-love, healing, and the courage it takes to choose freedom. Every step you’ve taken toward recovery is an act of love toward yourself. That matters.

If today feels heavy, know you’re not alone. If it feels hopeful, celebrate that. Either way, your journey is valid.

Sending strength, compassion, and reminders that you are worthy of healthy, safe, and real love especially from yourself.

Recovery was never meant to be a solo journey. Research shows that people who heal in community are more likely to stay consistent, experience less relapse, and grow stronger emotionally and mentally.

Connection reduces shame, builds hope, and reminds us we’re not alone.

In this space, we walk together through the hard days, the breakthroughs, and everything in between. Your story matters here. Your presence matters here.

Recovery isn’t meant to be done alone and the science agrees. 🤍

Studies show that people who have strong community support during recovery are significantly more likely to stay sober and experience better mental and emotional health. Social connection is linked to lower relapse rates, reduced stress, and higher confidence in recovery.

Why? Because addiction grows in isolation, but healing happens in connection. Community helps break shame, builds accountability, and reminds us we’re not alone in the struggle. When we share space with people who understand, our brains and hearts begin to heal.

Recovery isn’t just about quitting something it’s about becoming someone new. And that transformation is stronger, healthier, and more sustainable when we walk it together.

Come join our community. We’d love for you to come and experience this awesome community we have. We support one another, we are confidential and mostly importantly we are faith based.

We meet every Monday night with a warm meal beginning at 5:30pm and the groups start at 6pm. Our meeting location is at Rescue House Church.
