Things may not happen when you want it, but God has his timing planned for you.

In the Bible when Job lost everything he hit rock bottom. But God stepped in and blessed him 2x more than before. You can be down to your last and God will step in & show you why he made you wait. Patience is the key. Trust God no matter what your circumstances look like now.

Have you told Jesus about your problems lately?

“I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

“They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.”

“This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.”

“The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.”

“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Psalms 34:4-8

Today marks two years since Major went home to be with the Lord.

We pause today not only to remember his passing, but to celebrate the life he lived so fully. Major loved deeply his family, his friends, and most of all, Jesus. That love was evident in the way he showed up, the way he encouraged others, and the way he walked out his faith each day.

Major was one of the very first to walk through the doors when Freedom Recovery Group began. He wasn’t just a member he was part of the foundation. We were truly blessed to have him in our community, and we’re grateful to say that this group was part of his journey in staying sober.

Though his life was tragically cut short in a motorcycle accident, his impact continues to live on in every life he touched.

Today, we honor Major. We remember his strength, his faith, and his heart.
Please join us in lifting up his family in prayer today that they feel peace, comfort, and the presence of the Lord surrounding them.

You are missed, Major, but never forgotten. 💙

Some days in recovery feel powerful. Other days feel quiet, heavy, or just plain hard. Both kinds of days matter.

Progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like getting out of bed when you didn’t want to. Sometimes it’s choosing not to go back to old habits. Sometimes it’s just staying—staying committed, staying present, staying hopeful.

Remember this: freedom isn’t built in one big moment. It’s built in small, consistent choices—day after day.

If today feels like a struggle, you’re not alone. If today feels like a win, celebrate it. Either way, you are moving forward.

Keep going. Your future self is grateful you didn’t give up today. 💙
