Start the New Year off right with self-care and join our Mindfulness Group featuring sound baths. A sound bath is a relaxing experience where participants listen to soothing sounds, often produced by instruments like crystal bowls, gongs, or chimes. The goal is to help you relax deeply, clear your mind, and reduce stress. The gentle, rhythmic sounds can help calm your nervous system. Normally, when we're alert and focused, our brain produces beta waves. During a sound bath, the calming sounds help your brain shift to alpha waves, which are associated with relaxation, daydreaming, and the state just before sleep. For some, it may even encourage theta waves, which occur during deep meditation and can lead to a sense of inner calm. This shift can reduce stress and leave you feeling more relaxed. Our Mindfulness Group is a 6-session group, topics include:
• Grounding - focuses on reconnecting with the present moment and creating a sense of stability and balance within yourself
• Connection with Nature - focuses on immersing your senses in the natural world to cultivate a sense of feeling grounded, centered, and at peace.
• Spirituality - focuses on connecting with a sense of inner peace, purpose, and the deeper meaning of life.
• Forgiveness - focuses on releasing resentment and cultivating compassion
• Self-love - focuses on fostering a deep sense of appreciation, acceptance, and care for oneself
• Gratitude - focuses on cultivating a sense of appreciation for the positive aspects of life
