Today we recognize HIV Is Not a Crime Awareness Day — a reminder that living with HIV is not a moral failure, a danger, or a crime. It is a health condition. And people living with HIV deserve dignity, respect, and justice.

For decades, stigma and outdated laws have harmed our communities — especially Black, Brown, LGBTQIA+, and low-income folks. HIV criminalization laws often punish people based on fear, not science. With modern treatment, people living with HIV who are undetectable cannot transmit the virus (U=U). Science is clear. Compassion should be too.

Organizations like The Sero Project lead the fight to end HIV criminalization across the country, advocating for laws rooted in public health, not punishment.

Today, we stand with people living with HIV. We commit to ending stigma. We commit to education over fear. We commit to justice.

HIV is not a crime. Stigma is.

Black History Month reminds us that history isn’t only something we read about — we are living through it right now.

Today we honor Dilinna Ugochukwu, recognizing the power and importance of Black lives, stories, and presence in shaping our communities today. Black history is written every day through the people we uplift, remember, and stand beside.

To honor Black history is to honor Black lives — in the past, in the present, and in the future. 🖤✊🏾

Some aromantic people experience no romantic attraction, while others experience it rarely, conditionally, or in specific ways. There’s no single checklist and no “right” way to be aromantic.

Being aro can look different at different times, for different people—and all of it is valid.

You don’t have to fit a stereotype to belong.
You don’t owe anyone an explanation.

💚 Every point on the aromantic spectrum deserves visibility and respect.

Aromanticism describes how someone experiences romantic attraction—not whether they want companionship, commitment, or shared lives. Aromantic people may build partnerships that are queerplatonic, committed, long-term, or uniquely defined by the people in them.

There is no single way to be aromantic.
Partnership doesn’t invalidate aromantic identity.
Connection doesn’t have to look one way to be real.

All aro experiences are valid and worthy of respect.
