Oasis Hospice & Palliative Care

Oasis Hospice & Palliative Care We believe in affirming life. Questions about hospice? Call 773-941-4838

When given the news of a life-limiting illness, we have the choice of continuing to live with dignity, while remaining pain and symptom free. We are able to achieve this in the comfort of our own home (or, indeed, anywhere else that we call home) surrounded by those we love, those who mean the most to us. When medical care cannot offer a cure, hospice provides care, comfort and support for persons

with life-limiting conditions as well as their families. The hospice team works to make the patient comfortable while relieving their symptoms and pain for the entire length of the illness. At Oasis Hospice, we believe in affirming life and exist as a refuge for our patients and their families. We aim to improve the quality of life for our patients as they deal with life-limiting illnesses.

Huge thanks to CMSA Chicago for hosting their 33rd annual conference at Drury Lane Theatre last week.

Grateful to all our partners, and the entire 2026 Board of Directors for leading with excellence. It was a powerful reminder of what happens when mission-driven professionals come together to deliver better outcomes for those we serve.

Proud to keep building relationships that move care forward across Chicagoland and the Midwest.

Here’s to continued growth and shared success!

This Volunteer Appreciation Week, we take time to celebrate those who serve, and we also extend an invitation to those looking for an opportunity to do so.

At Oasis Hospice and House of Goshen, volunteers serve alongside an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellence — whether with patient visits, office support, music and craft therapy, or events and content creation. We offer flexible training regimens to fit your schedule.

If you have a heart for others and a desire to serve, our team would love to hear from you.

This National Volunteer Week, we’re spotlighting the people who give their time to walk alongside families facing one of life’s hardest seasons.

Adriana, our Volunteer Coordinator, sat down to talk about what hospice volunteering looks like — and why it starts with a “special and compassionate heart.”

Watch the mini 1 minute interview below, and reach out if you’re interested in serving at Oasis.

It is National Volunteer Week!

And today we feel it is also a good a time as any to say that at Oasis Hospice, our volunteers are truly irreplaceable.

They bring something to us of immense value that can never be replicated; and that is their time. Unhurried, and consistent. With no agenda but to serve.

Our team is honored to work alongside some of the people who help fuel the lifeblood of our entire operation, and this week we're celebrating. Stay tuned for a brief interview tomorrow on our YouTube channel.

And if volunteering sounds like something you're made for, Oasis & House of Goshen are looking for people like you.

Celebrating 32 years of compassion and commitment.

Sharing a few photos from a celebration had in our office last week, put on by the staff at HOUSE of GOSHEN. We enjoyed a sweet moment of congratulations to our founders, who celebrated 32 years of marriage last week. It's been incredible to witness both use their time and talent to touch so many lives; both in marriage and in mission.

Here’s to continuing that journey.

Happy Anniversary, Hakeem Bello and Sade Bello !

Have you heard of our ministry, House of Goshen?

The truth is, most people don't know that high level hospice care is freely available to them until they need it.

General Inpatient (GIP) hospice care is for hospice patients whose symptoms can no longer be controlled at home. Whether that is pain, difficulty breathing or agitation — situations that require immediate, skilled medical intervention.

House of Goshen provides GIP care around the clock, with rapid medication management, social work support, and a care team that treats the entire family.

You don't have to go it alone. Call us today.
