We are excited to share plans for the Community Care and Education Center (CCEC) — a centralized hub that will bring together SIU’s vital behavioral and mental health services in one accessible location.
This innovative facility will unite the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, Evaluation and Developmental Center, Clinical Center, and Project 12-Ways, making it easier for individuals and families across Southern Illinois to get the support they need.
“These programs are doing great work for the community, and they bring a lot of positive attention to SIU,” said Interim Director Kelly Powers.
The CCEC will enhance our ability to provide research-driven, compassionate care while addressing critical behavioral and mental health needs throughout the region.
Our goal is to raise $5 million to renovate University Hall into a welcoming, state-of-the-art space for therapy, research, and community collaboration.
With your support, we can create a center that not only improves lives but also trains the next generation of health and human service professionals.
Together, we can make this vision a reality. Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to get involved.
