UPDATE: Mugshots Released of 3 North Texas Firefighters Jailed on Child S*x Crime Charges
Three firefighters. Eight felony counts. All booked into the same county jail.

In Howe, a volunteer fire department is now at the center of a child s*x crime investigation led by the Texas Rangers. The case began with allegations of inappropriate conduct. Local police escalated it fast. An outside agency took over.

The result: David Perez and Dalton McCaslin each face three counts of s*xual assault of a child. Joshua Ryals faces two counts of indecency with a child involving s*xual contact. All three were arrested and booked into Grayson County Jail within the same day.

Their backgrounds stretch across multiple departments. Irving. Allen. Melissa. Van Alstyne. Paris. Volunteer roles and paid positions. A network of public trust now tied to a single investigation.

Officials confirmed the allegations did not involve patients. The accused were not active city employees at the time. Some had already resigned more than a year earlier. Still, the timeline raises questions about movement between departments before the arrests.

Authorities released limited details. The investigation remains active. Statements emphasize cooperation, privacy, and the protection of victims. No further specifics disclosed.

Three men. Multiple departments. Allegations spanning jurisdictions. One investigation pulling it all together.

What this case reveals about oversight, background checks, and internal accountability may matter long after the charges are decided.

60 children found. 8 predators arrested. This is the story that every parent needed to hear.
Operation Dragon Eye — a two-week law enforcement initiative led by the U.S. Marshals Service in Florida — resulted in the recovery of 60 critically missing children, ranging in age from 9 to 17. Officials from the U.S. Marshals Service called it the most successful missing child rescue operation in the agency’s history, and potentially in all of American history.
The operation spanned Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties, involving nearly 20 agencies and more than 100 personnel working in coordination. Many of the recovered children had been reported as missing, endangered, or confirmed victims of trafficking. Eight adults were arrested and charged with offenses including human trafficking, child endangerment, and drug trafficking. Bond amounts for the suspects ranged from no bond to $250 million.
What made this operation different wasn’t just the number of children recovered. Each child was debriefed by specialists and connected to immediate medical care, psychological support, and safe housing — the goal being not just rescue, but protection from further exploitation.
The Bible says in Psalm 82:3 — “Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy.”
This is what justice looks like in action. These agencies didn’t just enforce the law — they defended the vulnerable. And for 60 children, that made all the difference.
Do you think operations like this get enough national attention, or does the media overlook them?
