We love our four legged friends at Overlook! 🐾 Oliver and Sophie met for the first time and this is how the conversation went.

Sophie: "Are you...me?"
Oliver: "I was literally thinking the SAME thing."

Our residents in The Mills have been hard at work expressing themselves through painting with watercolors. 💜🎨🖌️

During our Memories in the Making sessions, residents express themselves through color, creativity, and memories. Memories in the Making is an Alzheimer's Association art program designed for people living with Alzheimer's, other dementias, or memory loss. It's more than an art class - it's therapeutic, creative, and an emotional support tool that helps people with dementia express themselves.

Our January Fitness Challenge was a huge success! 💪 They filled out and turned in their calendars if they attended 12 classes or worked out on their own. We are proud of our residents who show up, stay active, and are committed to their wellness goals.

A special shoutout goes to Jean Delille, who went above and beyond by attending 19 classes!

Our Mardi Gras parade was full of festive fun, colorful beads, and smiling faces! Residents and staff came together to celebrate with decorated floats, bright masks, and plenty of New Orleans spirit!
