I posted about Denmark but not about our time in Greece. Well, in a nutshell, it was a DREAM! It was so wonderful to see family and to celebrate my cousin’s wedding ❤️ However, the stories are true, Greek weddings are W I L D. Mostly for the fact that they never seem to sleep 😂 We stayed up until 2 -4am every. single. night. Talk about exhausted!

During the days we enjoyed visiting different beaches, walking through the shops in Old Town, and of course, trying all the FOOD 😍

D E N M A R K
Such a beautiful country! Things are so clean and organized there. I have been to Denmark 3 times now but have mostly spent my time in Copenhagen. This time around we got to go to our host families’ summer camp to watch the Tour de France. It was so cool and inspiring to watch those athletes (even though they go by in a blink of an eye 😂), but nonetheless, they are incredible!
I would have loved to spend weeks in their summer home by myself lol. It was so picturesque and overlooked the ocean. The terrain and vegetation looked very similar to that of my hometown in New York, so I felt very at home on the trails there. During our whole trip, this was the only place we really got to do any hiking. The only thing that was missing was our 4 dogs racing through the woods 🥹
Visiting Denmark is mostly special to us because it is so special to my brother. He lived and studied there for years so it is always cool to reminisce and visit some of his favorite places.

Finally back in the United States 🙏 We had such a fun, adventurous, & memorable trip ✨

I am so grateful to be able to travel and explore the world. I think it is so important for people to see how others live so we can stay as open-minded as possible. It also helps us realize how privileged and lucky we are to live in this beautiful, free country.
I’ll post more later on some of experiences in both Greece and Denmark (two totally opposite countries 🤣), but for now we’ll be driving 14 hours back to Illinois to finally see our fur babies 🐶 (this is the LONGEST I’ve ever been away from Moose 😭)

Okay, I couldn’t resist. Who is in for a virtual yoga book club!? I enjoyed the last one so much that I am now teaching one in-person at a studio in Iowa, but I thought I would offer another virtual one as well 🥰

I have never read this book but it is one I have been interested in so I’m excited to explore it with others! 📖

Made fast friends with a shop owner in Greece whose grandmother used to make soap. I rushed back to give them some of my own products and then stopped by a few days later to find that he had set up my things on display in his shop 🥹

Greece has been an absolute dream ☀️
I haven’t seen any yoga classes happening which I found very interesting. Apparently yoga is more common on the main land than here on the island. 🤔
Off to Denmark in a couple of days 🛫

Good morning everyone ☀️

Just giving a little update - the next few weeks will be spent traveling Europe and spending time with my family, something that I cherish more and more as I get older. So I won’t be on here as much but I will post as much as I can! I also have lots of exciting things planned for when I get back, including another possible virtual yoga book club 🥰 Again, I’ll do my best to keep you posted!

But tomorrow… 🛫 Greece!!!!! 🇬🇷
