While somatic literally means “of the body”, Somatic Sessions are deeply connected to your mental and emotional well-being.
In these classes, you’re not just moving, you’re learning how to feel. To notice how the emotions feel in your body even before your mind can make sense of them in words.
The heat we build through repetitive somatic movement isn’t just physical.
It’s not just symbolic, either.
It’s practice.
It’s your body and your mind learning in tandem how to stay with discomfort instead of shutting it down or pushing it away.
Because that heat?
It often shows up as emotion. Anger. Shame. Embarrassment, guilt, jealousy.
When we learn how to move with it, release it, and not fear it, our mental health becomes more resilient and more spacious.
