GiGi's Playhouse is a one-of-a-kind achievement center for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. GiGi's Playhouse offers therapeutic and educational programs that advance literacy, math skills, motor skills and more; all of which are free of charge.

Earlier this week, we shared a video with some of our Kitchen participants sharing their favorite type of pizza. Last night was the last night for the spring kitchen program, and they all enjoyed making their own pizzas. Vegetables were encouraged, but one participant who really LOVES 🍄‍🟫mushrooms had almost an entire can of mushrooms on hers. 🤣🍄You'll have to go check out those videos to see if you can figure out who the mushroom queen is. Congrats to all participants on earning their kitchen certificates. Sadly, a few friends had to miss the last night and are not pictured here.
📌The next GiGi's Kitchen program is for kids ages 6-12 years and begins March 24th.

🌟 Happy International Day of Women and Girls in Science! 🎉
Today we’re spotlighting a that’s extra special—and it comes straight from our brand‑new STEM Lab program!
Michelle has been diving deeper into GiGi’s programs over the past few months, sometimes joining us three nights a week. During one especially fun week, she showed off her dance moves to Happier at GiGiFIT before heading over to STEM Lab to put her scientific thinking to the test.
Here she is using all her muscles to make ice cream—a hands‑on experiment we highly recommend trying at home.🍦🍨 It’s science you can taste!
We love watching our friends spread their wings, explore new interests, and discover what they’re capable of.

Spring 1-on-1 sessions are officially underway — and Lisa kicked things off yesterday with Ms. Ann! 💛

Did you know our Playhouse was one of the first to offer the Amina Grace Speech & Language Therapy Program eight years ago? We have been blessed to watch it (and many participants) grow, thanks to the Amina Grace Memorial Fund and Ms. Ann’s dedication.

Here’s to another season of growth, confidence, and big wins! 🌟

👉9:30 am LMNOP (Language, Music N' Our Peeps) for ages birth -3 years (Older friends who love music are welcome too!) - led by licensed music therapist
👉10:30 am Leaps & Bounds for ages 3-5 years - led by an early education specialist
