Today is World Semicolon Day, and we’re not here to give you the version you’ve heard a hundred times. You already know what the symbol means. What matters is this… there are people walking around today who almost didn’t make it here. Not in some dramatic, obvious way. Quietly. Internally. In the middle of ordinary days. They answered texts, went to work, laughed at something small… and still fought a battle no one could see.
We talk about the semicolon like it is a symbol. But it is really a decision that keeps getting made. Over and over again. In moments no one applauds. In hours that feel too long. In nights that feel even longer. It is choosing to stay when your mind is trying to convince you to disappear. It is choosing to keep going without proof that anything will get better yet.
There is someone in your life right now who is doing exactly that. Holding it together more than you realize. Showing up in ways that cost them more than you know. And if they crossed your mind while reading this, that is not random. That is your moment. Reach out. Not perfectly. Just honestly.
And if this hits a little too close to home, hear this clearly. You are not behind. You are not failing at life because it feels heavy. You are someone who is still here. And that matters more than anything else right now.
Your story is not over. Not today.
