Blessing Bags for Our First Responders 💙❤️

Today our Charter Senior Living family came together to spread a little kindness to the heroes who serve our community every single day. Our residents and team members packed special Blessing Bags filled with snacks, essentials, and heartfelt gratitude for our local first responders.

These men and women run toward every call—day or night—without hesitation. This was our small way of saying thank you for the courage, compassion, and dedication they bring to Moline and the surrounding communities.

We are so proud of our residents for embracing this project with such joy and purpose. Their smiles said it all!

Today we celebrated one of our favorite Charter traditions — our Annual Farmers Market! This company-wide event is all about giving back to the incredible associates who pour their hearts into our residents every single day.

From fresh produce and holiday staples to the smiles and laughter shared throughout the day, this market is our way of saying thank you. Thank you for showing up with compassion, commitment, and genuine love for those we serve. Your dedication is what makes Charter feel like home.

Today’s Thankful Gathering was filled with warm company, delicious treats, and beautiful music that lifted everyone’s spirits. 🎶❤️
We loved seeing residents, families, and friends come together for an afternoon of gratitude and connection.

We’re also proud to share that our gathering helped raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting their mission to provide resources, hope, and research for families impacted by Alzheimer’s.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a meaningful afternoon.
Together, we truly enhance the human spirit. 💜

Today we celebrated the sweetness of the season by making fresh apple cider muffins right here at Charter! The whole community smelled like fall—warm spices, baked apples, and pure comfort.

Our residents loved mixing, baking, and of course tasting this delicious treat. Nothing brings people together quite like good food and good company. ❤️

🌟Resident Spotlight: Iwona Strejc 🌟

Iwona Strejc is a gentle, kind-hearted soul whose calming presence brings warmth and comfort to everyone around her. One of her greatest joys is spending time with her beloved cat, Kitty—more than a pet, Kitty is her treasured companion and a constant source of love.

Iwona enjoys sharing meals with friends, joining in on craft activities, and simply embracing the peaceful moments that make each day meaningful. She brings a quiet joy and a thoughtful spirit to everything she does.

She feels truly grateful to call Charter home. The beautiful surroundings, welcoming atmosphere, and caring staff make her feel supported, content, and exactly where she’s meant to be. Surrounded by friends, meaningful activities, and the gentle rhythm of daily life, Iwona continues to flourish.

Today we gathered as a community to honor those who have served our country. 🇺🇸❤️

Our Veterans Day ceremony was filled with pride and gratitude — from the opening to recognizing each of our resident veterans by name and branch of service. We all came together to say “thank you”!

A special thank-you to Heartland Hospice for performing such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony. Your compassion and care made the day truly memorable for everyone in attendance.

To our heroes here at Charter Senior Living of Moline… your courage, sacrifice, and love of country mean more than words can express. We are honored to care for you, learn from you, and celebrate you — not just today, but every day.
