30th Annual Golf Invitational
Monday, June 29, 2026 – Ruffled Feathers, Lemont

Enjoy a day on the course while making a lasting impact for the men we serve. Participants enjoy a full day of golf, lunch and dinner, camaraderie, and friendly competition at a premier golf venue, complete with contests, raffles, and on-course experiences. Whether you’re an avid golfer or simply enjoy supporting a great cause, the Golf Invitational offers something for everyone.

A family-friendly celebration with food, games, raffles, and community fun! Guests of all ages and abilities enjoy a wide variety of activities, including games, food, raffles, bingo, entertainment, and interactive experiences throughout the day. Twelfth Night Bonfire, Tuesday, January 6th at 6:00 p.m.! 150 natural Christmas trees have been collected to date for the second annual Twelfth Night Bonfire. If you need to dispose of your natural Christmas tree (without ornaments) there is still time! We will continue to collect trees at our Pavilion until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning (1/6/26). Then come out to the Manor and join us for a spectacular bonfire at 6:00 p.m.!

The GSM Chorus & Signers performed their annual Christmas Program in the beautiful Manor chapel yesterday. Our thanks to Father Pete for performing Mass prior to the performance. The Chorus & Signers have been practicing for many weeks and yesterday they enthusiastically performed with joy, love and light!

We are also grateful for the many family, friends and Board members who came to join us for this annual tradition. Good Shepherd Manor wishes everyone a safe and wonderful holiday season! Merry Christmas!

With colder weather moving in this weekend, now’s a great time to visit Momence’s Island Park and enjoy the festive holiday trees — including the Good Shepherd Manor tree! Don't forget to vote!

If you miss it before the freeze, don’t worry — warmer temperatures are expected next week, making it a perfect time to stop by and take it all in.

If you haven't already, be sure to stroll through and visit our Island Park Trees this month. The area will be viewable daily until 6:45pm. We have a ballot box posted at the entrance of the footbridge to cast your vote for your favorite!
