Our Community Day Services staff created a powerful bulletin board celebrating influential voices like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Maya Angelou, reminding us that “words have power.”

A huge shoutout to our amazing athletes who represented Good Shepherd Manor last weekend at the Special Olympics Regional Basketball Skills Competition at Manteno High School!

Participants enjoy a full day of golf, lunch and dinner, camaraderie, and friendly competition at a premier golf venue, complete with contests, raffles, and on-course experiences. Whether you’re an avid golfer or simply enjoy supporting a great cause, the Golf Invitational offers something for everyone.

Twelfth Night Bonfire, Tuesday, January 6th at 6:00 p.m.! 150 natural Christmas trees have been collected to date for the second annual Twelfth Night Bonfire. If you need to dispose of your natural Christmas tree (without ornaments) there is still time! We will continue to collect trees at our Pavilion until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning (1/6/26). Then come out to the Manor and join us for a spectacular bonfire at 6:00 p.m.!
