The taste of chocolate chip cookies baking! 😍

With crispy edges and a gooey center,

I almost feel bad eating them... almost.
Bake them now or freeze the dough for your future self to enjoy! 🍪😜

Recipe
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/5 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter softened
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
1). Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line baking sheets with parchment paper
2). In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
3). In the bowl of a stand mixer or a large mixing bowl, combine the butters and sugars. Beat on medium speed-low speed until very light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
4). Add the egg and vanilla. Beat until well combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
5). With the mixer on low, gradually add the flour mixture. Beat until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
6). Using a 1.5 tablespoon scoop, scoop the dough into balls and place on the prepared baking sheets.
(Chill the dough balls for 1 hour or cover and chill for up to 72 hours).
7). Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

The only time I feel guilty about eating cookies is when I have to share.

But then again, why share when you can hide in the kitchen?
