The word for today is "BARTERING"

Bartering: Exchange (goods or services) for other goods or services without using money!

Many people today are short on cash. A good way to still get what you need done is called Bartering!
For example: if you're a printer that creates designs for programs, flyers, business card, and etc. and your friend or someone you know have a cleaning service and you need your business or home cleaned, offer her/him your printing services in exchange for some cleaning time!
You must develop a group of supportive, trustworthy, friends and acquaintances!
Never be shy to negotiate deals, closed mouth doesn't get fed. Everything on this earth is negotiable, but you must have something in exchange to negotiate with!

The challenge for this week! Find someone to barter with. Don't use money, use the gifts that you've been given. Everyone has skills, dust them off and start using it. Learn how to BARTER!

Be Fruitful and Multiply!
I have read and heard these words over and over throughout my entire life and each time I've studied it, something new comes into my spirit. God gave Adam and Eve, along with others that command "BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY."

Being fruitful and multiplying goes beyond just having children. It also means being productive in whatever talent HE has given you. It means developing your talents, cultivating the earth, creating beauty, making your mark in life. How dare you sit on the gifts and talents that God has created just for you. God took HIS time and created you for HIS glory. HE formed you perfectly in your mother's womb and HE put HIMSELF in you. To not utilize the gifts and talents that HE has given you, is a slap in HIS face.

I know you're saying, "How do I figure out my gifts and talents?" How can I tell what is from God and what isn't?" Hmmmm, I'm glad you asked. This is simply my story and if God did it for me, HE will do the same for you.

I often praise my Mother for raising us up in the church. The Word says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

From the age of 16-22, I was hell on 18 wheels! I didn't know what I wanted to do. I didn't know about talents or gifts, I was living my best life, so I thought! By the time I was 22, I had about 20 jobs. I would get hired and if I didn't like them, I was out the door, good bye Felicia! Now, even though I was a hellion, you could always find me in church on Sunday mornings on the back pews. (I have elevated from the back pews to the middle section, lol).

Real life hit me at the age of 22, I lost my father on October 13, 1994, never having to deal with death, grief, or dying before, his death almost took me off the earth. It was after his funeral, I fell on my knees for the first time asking God to use me for HIS glory and If HE didn't I was going to work for satan! God immediately answered my prayers. He had Ms. Patricia Myers call me after my prayer and asked if I would be her secretary at a funeral home. I told her to hold on for a minute, I put the phone down and said to God, "I ask you for a job and for YOU to use me for your glory, I'm not working in a funeral home.!" HE said, "You asked ME for a job!" I said,"Fine, I will work for two weeks and I'm quitting." I went back to the phone and told Ms. Myers, Yes I will take the job.

I started off as a secretary in a funeral home in October 1994, graduated from Mortuary College in 1997, became a Licensed Mortician in New York in 1998, received my South Carolina License in July 2000, became a trade embalmer in 2006, became a owner of two funeral homes in 2015! 31 years in this business this month!
When you go before the Father in prayer with all sincerity, He will answer you! You must go back to the MAKER to find out the purpose you were created for, otherwise you'll be going around in circles for the balance of your life. If God created you, why wouldn't HE tell you what you were created for?

Read Matthews 25:14-31 about the talents! If you don't multiply what HE's given you, He will give it to someone else! Your gift will make room for you! If you're not walking in your calling you will be walking in someone else's shadow.

If you don't know what you're called to do, go on a fast for 3 days this WEEK, go before the Lord on purpose! Ask God to show you your purpose, what is it that He created you to do? When you want to watch T.V. or be on social media, go right into prayer or read scriptures! Don't allow NOTHING to distract you during your FAST! This is WAR between YOU and your DESTINY! It's up to you to make the change!

The biggest investment you can give yourself is INVESTING in YOU! How can you invest in everyone, except YOU? How can you give to everyone, except YOU? How can you do for everyone, except YOU? How can you lift everyone up, except YOU?

When are YOU going to start investing in YOU? Don't you have dreams? Don't you have desires? Don't you have goals? Don't you want to climb up the ladder? Don't you want to be stress free? Wouldn't you like to travel all over the world and not worry about the expenses and how much is it? Wouldn't you like to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about paying bills only the necessary ones like light, water, taxes and insurance.

There are 3 types of people in this land!
1.) The land of MORE THAN ENOUGH (The Overflow). These people have more than enough money for themselves, family, and to further the Kingdom of God! They have so much they have to find investments to invest in! They have multiple streams of income, multiple rental properties, land, and wealth . They bless other people freely without taking away from their families. They live in the best, drive the best, eat the best, stay in the finest hotels, travel to places without being on a budget! When they pass away, they WILL their money to someone else or something else. These people enjoy life to the fullest. They invested in themselves and worked hard or inherited money from generational wealth, either way, they have the overflow! By the way, they hardly if not ever, watch T.V.! (HINT).

2.) The land of JUST ENOUGH (Comfortable). These people are comfortable with STABILITY. This is the average life, their doing alright, their bills are paid, they're worker bees, they've learned to managed their paycheck, their household, their children, and animals. They have one mortgage, one car, or two if they're married. Their on a budget, they know just how much to spend, if their going to spend at all. These people will coupon shop for the best prices, ride around town to find the cheaper gas stations, cook at home everyday until someone invites them out. If they go to the restaurant, they will order the special for the day, which is half off or two for one meals. They take two or three vacations a year. They live comfortably and please don't ask them to borrow any money, the answer is NO! They ONLY have just enough for themselves and their immediate family (which means in their household PERIOD)!

3.) The land of NOT ENOUGH (Temporarily out of CASH)! In other words BROKE and BROKEN. These are the complainers! Why their lives are they way it is, why they can't climb the ladder, and if someone would have help me and show me the way! Yet they have $200 weaves, $200 fingernails and toes done, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, red bottom shoes, and other name brand bags and shoes! Driving expensive and high maintenance cars with no mortgage payments or deeds living with their parents or apartments trying to impress people that don't like them. Faking it until they make it. Won't listen to anyone, think they know everything, won't invest in anything but clothes, shoes, and jewelry! Want what you have without going through the process of getting it.

Now how do I know this, I was once in this same category! Except, I was wearing $700.00 weaves, riding in limousines, dining at fancy restaurants, wearing the best suits and clothing, dating three wealthy men and still ended up BROKE all of this in my twenties! How in the world did that happen?

God had to break me in order to mold and shape into the person that I am today. God took me from depending on men to depending on HIM! I asked God to teach me HIS ways. Give me wisdom, favor, understanding, and knowledge of Him, so I can depend on HIM and HIM alone! He said in HIS WORD, as it is in Heaven, so it shall be on earth. God is living in Heaven with pearly gates, (Gated Community), and I'm on earth in a mobile home with no gates, this picture doesn't look right! lol. I had to get to WORKING!

After all of that, the beginning of my thirties, I started dating a narcissist and an average man that told me I wouldn't be nothing without him. I will not make it. That's when I woke completely up and told God I'm tired. The very NEXT day, I purchased my first brand new mobile home in 2005!

My sister, Rev. Dr. Kathy Simmons gave me the BEST investment in October 2003, a book by Dr. Myles Munroe, "Understanding The Purpose and Power of Prayer"! That book changed my entire life and mindset! To this day, 22 years later, I STILL read the book!
I made it to category two in my middle thirties! While being in this category was great, but it still wasn't enough for me. I needed to find a way to take care of my mother and family. I kept reading the story of Caleb and Joshua, I wanted the land of milk and honey. I kept reading you cannot put all of your eggs in one basket.

Category two is great, but what happens if a disaster appears? I will have nothing! At this time, I only had two mobile homes and two cars (All Paid for)! I needed to be able to move our families to other properties without any worries. I partitioned Heaven and position myself to get it. I made it to category three in my late forties but it didn't come without hard work, perseverance, fasting, praying, tithing, crying, and endurance!

If I have any regrets, it would be that I did all of this without building a team! I could have gotten to my destination within 5 years and could have taken more people with me, instead of by myself and having to take 20 years to figure it out! Me traveling this road alone, taught me some valuable lessons in life.

I was somewhat like the Israelites, had they listened they would have gone through the wilderness in three months instead of 40 years and still never made it to the promised land of milk and honey! Lack of knowledge and Ignorance is very costly!

If you stick with me a little longer, I will teach you how I did it. I want you to accomplish what you want faster by building a team. Team work makes the dream work. Don't you ever sit under a leader whose NOT willing to teach you how to climb the ladder and get what God has for you! But YOU must be willing to listen and do what he/she or they say to do! If your leader or leaders are living, driving, and eating the BEST, then you should be too!
