📣COVID-19 VACCINE NOW AVAILABLE📣

12 YEARS AND OLDER ONLY

We now have the COVID-19 vaccine available for our patients, 12 years and older. Please call the office at 843-761-2000 to make an appointment ASAP. APPOINTMENTS ARE LIMITED.

QUICK FACTS:

• You will be required to return 3 weeks after the 1st dose to receive the 2nd dose
• Plan on being at the office for at least 45-60 minutes, as we have to monitor your child after their vaccination
• If you schedule an appointment, it is extremely important to keep your appointment once scheduled

Currently, Moncks Corner Pediatrics is seeking a full-time, Certified Medical Assistant in a small rural pediatric office. A minimum of three to five years’ clinical experience is strongly preferred. Duties to include, but not limited to, effective verbal and written communication skills, interviewing patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height, administering vaccines, and assisting the Physician in minor procedures. Demonstrates commitment to interpersonal excellence through patient confidentiality, common courtesy and professional attitude and appearance.

📣COVID-19 TESTING NOW AVAILABLE 📣

Moncks Corner Pediatrics is now able to test for COVID-19 in office for patients that are acutely ill AND for patients that are asymptomatic (no symptoms), with results in 15-20 minutes. We also offer COVID-19 antibody testing in office, with results in 15 minutes.

📣COVID-19 Update📣

Moncks Corner Pediatrics is fully open and operating. We still have policies and procedures in place to keep our patients and staff healthy during this time. The staff is regularly disinfecting the office, exam rooms and other common areas. We do ask for a mask to be worn inside of the building. If possible, we ask that only one adult accompany a child to their appointment. Everyone entering the building will have a forehead temperature taken prior to entering the building. All patients are required to have a COVID screening via the telephone prior to arrival.

We strongly encourage you to keep up with your children's scheduled wellness exams and vaccinations. Vaccinations are extremely important to protect your child against preventable diseases.

We have been diligently working towards providing our patients with the opportunity to have COVID-19 testing and COVID-19 antibody testing on-site in our lab. We hope to offer this service to our patients and their parents within the next 30 days or before the start of the school year.

We ask that for all non-emergency issues and medication refills, that you call during our normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We have staff on hand to take your calls. Please only call after hours if it is a medical emergency.
