Deep Tissue Doesn’t Have to Hurt!

“Deep tissue” gets a bad reputation — like it’s supposed to feel like torture. But the truth is… deep tissue should never make you hold your breath, clench your fists, or question your life choices. 😅

Deep tissue simply means I’m working with the deeper layers of muscle and fascia, using slower, intentional pressure to release tension that’s been building for a long time.

Here’s what deep tissue actually does:

✨ Reduces chronic tightness
✨ Breaks up adhesions that limit movement
✨ Improves posture and mobility
✨ Helps undo the effects of long-term stress
✨ Supports recovery from physical strain or repetitive work

And here’s what it should NOT do:

❌ Leave you in sharp, shooting, or unbearable pain
❌ Make you feel bruised for days
❌ Force your body to tense up instead of relax

Deep tissue should feel like a good, productive release — the kind where your body says, “Finally.”

Every session is based on communication, comfort, and what your body can handle. You’re always in control of the pressure, and I work with your muscles, not against them.
