💜 Spotlight: Kylah Brown
Meet Kylah Brown, Multi-Modality Imaging Tech at OSF HealthCare! 🌟
Kylah performs both diagnostic X-ray and CT exams, playing an essential role in helping patients receive the care they need.
🕒 Kylah began her OSF journey as an X-ray student three years ago and has now been a licensed X-ray tech with OSF for just over two years.
💬 “My favorite part about my job is that imaging is the eye of medicine,” said Kylah. “We are the first to see the brain bleed, the stroke, the cancer, the collapsed lung, the broken bone — and for that one moment, we’re the only ones who know their life is about to change. Because of the diagnostic imaging we perform, we help ensure patients get the proper care they need next.”
💖 When it comes to serving with the greatest care and love, Kylah says it’s all about passion and empathy. “Many of our patients are sick, scared, or in pain. It’s important to empathize while still getting the images they need.”
✈️ Fun fact: Kylah loves to travel and has already been to Germany, France, and Japan — with more adventures to come!
