💚 Mission Partner Monday 💚
Meet Teresa Haynes, a Certified Pharmacy Tech II who has been part of OSF HealthCare for four years!
Teresa’s favorite part of her job is making sure patients have all the medications and IVs they need to heal and feel better. Her dedication helps ensure patients receive the care and support they need every day.
When asked what serving with the greatest care and love means to her, Teresa shared that it means giving the same care and support to patients and Mission Partners that we would hope to receive ourselves. For her, it’s about giving your all, even on the tough days.
A fun fact about Teresa: she loves spending time with her family, cheering on her grandkids at their sporting events, listening to music and taking a little time to pamper herself because everyone deserves a little “me” time. 😊

Each March, OSF HealthCare proudly hosts the Social Workers Achieving Greatness (SWAG) event a special celebration honoring the incredible impact Social Workers across Care Management, Home Care Services and PACE make every day.

Social workers strengthen our healthcare system in powerful ways. Through care coordination, patient advocacy, emotional support, and connecting individuals with vital resources, they help reduce readmissions, improve treatment adherence, support vulnerable populations and enhance the overall patient experience. Their work drives better outcomes while promoting compassionate, cost effective care rooted in our Mission and Values.

Lombard Middle School students enjoyed moving their bodies during another session from OSF Kleine Pediatric Wellness Center's newest program, The Windmill Initiative. The Windmill Initiative introduces children to a variety of coping skills to help them work through negative feelings such as stress, anxiety, sadness, anger, etc. Through a fast-paced energy release workout, students were able to reset their minds and bodies to prepare for a productive, positive day. Thank you to Lombard Middle School for your partnership and commitment to providing opportunities to your students that help them through their wellness journey!
