Over the past year, stepping into the role of Executive Director has made me even more appreciative of our dedicated team and the meaningful work we do every day. International Boost Self-Esteem Month 🤩

This month is a great time to reflect on the importance of fostering our self-esteem and embracing our inner resilience.

Therapy plays a crucial role in enhancing self-esteem, but it goes beyond that. Therapy empowers us, fosters growth, and helps us uncover our inner strength. It involves acknowledging our value, accepting our vulnerabilities, and finding the bravery to confront life's obstacles. Therapy offers a safe environment to delve into our thoughts, emotions, and experiences, fostering deeper self-awareness and self-compassion.

Cheers to embracing our inner strength, nurturing our self-esteem, and supporting one another on our paths to growth and healing!

Together, let's make this a turning point for greater awareness, empathy, and support for all impacted by eating disorders.

At Samaritan Counseling Center, we celebrate Black History month by honoring the invaluable contributions and resilience of the Black community. This month, we're highlighting the vital connection between Black history and mental health.

We recognize the significant mental health challenges that African-American and communities of color face due to systemic inequalities, racial trauma, and historical injustices. Through raising awareness, fostering understanding, and offering culturally sensitive support, we're committed to empowering and healing the Black community.

Together, let's celebrate Black excellence and ensure that mental wellness is a priority for everyone.

Today, we invite you to share a small act of kindness with someone in your life. You never know how much someone might need it.
