🌿 Update from Samaritan Counseling Center:
Due to smoke from a nearby controlled burn making its way into our building, we’ll be switching to telehealth sessions for the rest of the day out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s comfort and safety.

Our team is still here to support you—just virtually today! Thank you for your understanding. 💻💚

💚 Mental health matters every day — and on October 10th, World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded of just how important it is to care for ourselves and each other.

Our Executive Director, Angela, has a creative side outside of her work at Samaritan — she makes handmade polymer clay earrings 🎨✨. To help support mental health awareness, she’s created a special collection, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly back to Samaritan Counseling Center.

These earrings are not only a way to spread awareness, but also a way to give back to the mission of providing compassionate, accessible mental health care in our community.

💚 Wear them. Share them. Support mental health.

🎉 Celebrating 4 Years with Paulina! 🎉

This month, we’re excited to celebrate Paulina’s 4-year anniversary with Samaritan Counseling Center! Working remotely behind the scenes, Paulina plays a vital role in our billing process and steps in to help with many other tasks that keep our clinic running smoothly. Her attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed make a huge difference for our team and the clients we serve.

Thank you, Paulina, for your dedication and the many ways you support our mission each day! 💙

We’re grateful to our friends at in Monona for stopping by to check in on us and bring such a kind gesture. Their generosity reflects the kind of community connections that help us thrive in our mission of providing accessible, compassionate mental health care.

They even added to our Executive Director Angela’s growing plant collection—brightening her day and ours! 🌱

Thank you, Lake Ridge Bank, for your support in our Monona community.

🍂 As the leaves begin to fall, we’re reminded that letting go can be beautiful. Just as the trees release what no longer serves them, we too can find strength in releasing stress, worries, or burdens we’ve been carrying. Autumn shows us that change, though sometimes hard, can bring unexpected beauty and make room for new growth. 💛
