As we come to the close of the year, I’ve been reflecting on how deeply our community has needed compassion, care, and connection, and how honored I am to be part of an organization that shows up every day to provide exactly that.
This past year has reminded us how essential access to mental health care truly is. Every day at Samaritan Counseling Center of Southern Wisconsin, we meet people carrying heavy burdens. Whether it is a parent overwhelmed by stress, a teen navigating anxiety, or an older adult facing grief and loneliness. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, these stories can become stories of healing, strength, and renewed hope.
In 2025, I stepped into the role of Executive Director at Samaritan Counseling Center. I’ve been honored to bring fresh energy and vision to our mission, working to expand our presence in the community and ensure that no one is turned away because of financial barriers. Last year alone, our team provided over 5,000 hours of counseling, serving individuals and families across 21 Wisconsin counties.
The need for affordable, compassionate mental health care continues to grow and your support makes a real difference. Your gift helps ensure that cost is never the reason someone goes without care.
