Laura is one of our talented Nurse Injectors (RN, BSN) here at Badger State Hydrate and Badger Glow. With over a decade of nursing experience, including time in Trauma IMC and the Burn ICU at UW, she brings extensive clinical knowledge and a patient focused approach to every treatment.

• Laura has been part of the BSH team since 2021 and loves helping clients feel confident while working toward their wellness and aesthetic goals.
• Her favorite treatments include the Antidote IV, Lumecca IPL Laser, and SubQ NAD+.
• She earned her BA in Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and later completed her BSN at Edgewood College in Madison.
• Originally from Madison, Laura is also a proud boy mom and wife.

Today is World Obesity Day, a global awareness day led by the World Obesity Federation to increase understanding and awareness of obesity. The goal is to improve education and encourage action and prevention through healthier lifestyles and supportive environments. This day is also about reducing stigma and shifting the conversation toward education, compassion, and sustainable change.

Obesity is influenced by many factors beyond food and exercise. Sleep quality, hormone balance, stress levels, gut health, genetics, mental health, medications, and access to care all play a role. Recognizing these underlying contributors is an important step toward long-term health.
