We are excited to announce that our next Values Ambassador in the value of Stewardship is Kylie! Kylie joined the Garden View Place team as a Caregiver in January and has been a valuable member of the team in her time here.

In the last couple of months especially, Kylie has been jumping in and helping out wherever it is needed. In addition to her regular role as a Caregiver, she has helped out in both Culinary and Housekeeping, doing a great job in each.

Kylie comes to work each day with a positive attitude, is kind to our residents, and does whatever she can to ensure their needs are met. She isn’t afraid to ask questions or for clarification when it is needed. She completes tasks as scheduled and is diligent in following all policies and procedures. Kylie’s hands-on caregiving skills are excellent, and for this reason, she has recently been entrusted with training some new team members as well.

Thank you, Kylie, for your dedication to Garden View Place and our residents. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful to have you on the team! ♥️

We are pleased to announce that our Resident of the Month for November is Sharon! One of the many things that make her special is her incredible talent for self-taught cross stitching. Her beautiful handmade pieces bring color and joy to everyone who sees them.

Originally raised on a farm in Manchester, Iowa, Sharon learned the value of hard work, patience, and dedication from a young age — qualities that continue to shine through in everything she does.

Sharon is the proud mother of two sons, and her family has grown to include four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom bring her great joy and pride.

Sharon enjoys visiting with her friends and neighbors at Garden View Place and she especially likes to give a helping hand throughout the community whenever the opportunity arises. If Sharon could share one piece of advice it would be “what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

We had such a blast at our Halloween celebration last week! Our residents loved the visit from the kiddos at Little Bulldog Childcare Center, who came dressed in their adorable costumes. Everyone had a spooktacular time together! ☺️
