We're honored to share this final feature on Mala Yoga Center from Our Lives Magazine. A tribute to the space we've built together and the work we've done over the years to make traditional yoga more accessible, inclusive and transformative.

From day one, Mala was more than a studio. It was a call to action- A safe and brave space where healing met Justice, where everybody and every story was welcome, and where community wasn't just something we talked about- it was something we practiced.

Over the years, Mala became a refuge for many: a place to land, breathe, reconnect, and rise. A space rooted in equity, care, and collective transformation

Thank you to everyone who rolled out a mat, showed up, spoke truth, and helped shape this into something powerful and lasting. You are part of the legacy.

Final call 💫

Our Studio Send-Off Sale is happening this Thursday, June 26 from 4–6 PM and Saturday, June 28 from 10 AM–2 PM.

Come find a new home for the props, plants, decor, and special treasures that have filled our studio with warmth and intention over the years. This is your chance to take home a piece of Mala Yoga and celebrate all the beautiful energy we’ve shared together.

As we prepare to say goodbye to our beloved studio, we’re planning one final way to honor this space together. 🧡

Our Studio Send-Off Sale will take place during the last week of June (exact date & time TBD). We’ll be parting with the items that have made Mala feel like home—props, plants, decor, retail, furniture, and more.

🎒 Backpack Drive for Reach Dane 🎒
This June, we’re collecting backpacks for Head Start preschoolers served by Reach Dane — a local nonprofit supporting early childhood education.

Supporting our community has always been at the heart of Mala Yoga, and as we prepare to close our doors on June 30, we want to go out in alignment with our values. 💛

As soon as our collection bins arrive, we’ll begin accepting new or gently used backpacks at the studio. Let’s come together one more time to lift up the next generation with love and care.
