We are happy to announce that a combined total of 1,374 meals were served yesterday during the Monroe City and Palmyra Senior Center’s Annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

Thank you to our awesome staff, dedicated volunteers, and supportive communities who make this annual feast a huge success. 🦃❤️

Happy Veterans Day!

Today we honor and thank all who have served our country for your courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

We sincerely thank Warren Christian Church for generously providing lunch for our local veterans at the Senior Center in recognition of their service, your kindness means so much!

Who says Halloween is just for the kids?!? Halloween fun is for everyone! Tonight many of our senior citizens enjoyed playing pitch, eating lots of sweets and seeing all the adorable trick-or treaters who stopped by.

Welcome New Paris Meal Volunteer -Lynn Davis

Lynn grew up in the Philadelphia MO area and moved to New Mexico for 43 years.
Her career was in banking, accounting and finance. In 2014, she retired from her position as Administration and Finance Director and began exploring the country in her RV for 7 years.

After traveling, she returned to Missouri and settled in the Madison area.
In Lynn’s spare time she loves crafting, cooking, canning, freeze drying, working in the yard, and taking care of her chickens & cats. She has one adult son who resides in New Mexico.

Lynn has answered our call to deliver meals to the residents in Paris on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Tuesdays of each month.

Welcome, Lynn, and thank you for your willingness to help us help others.
