Today we celebrated the purchase of our new ice cream machine with a sundae bar! 🍨

Please join us in welcoming our newest meal delivery volunteer, Steve Buckman!

Steve is a true hometown boy who grew up in his parent’s grocery store, Buckman’s Superette. He credits his “not knowing a stranger” to his parents pressuring him into speaking with their customers.

Steve is married to Jackie, and they have two children and one spoiled, eleven year old, granddaughter.

Steve brings to our volunteer team a big friendly smile and a heart for service. We’re excited to have him on board and grateful for his desire to give back to the community.

Our Wednesday Center volunteers delivered more than just meals this week; they delivered smiles, conversation, and a reminder that our seniors are loved and remembered.

🚗 Volunteers Needed for Meal Delivery!

We are looking for caring community members to help fill in with meal deliveries to our homebound Monroe City neighbors. Just a short, one hour commitment from 10:30 am to 11:30 am can make a big difference in someone’s day.

If you have a reliable vehicle and a heart for helping others, we’d love to hear from you!

There are some guys making their rounds through the area trying to sell this as a long-term care policy.

If you read the packet they give out, it clearly states it is NOT LONG TERM CARE!! ✖️✖️

Please do NOT sign up with them and if you want options go visit with one of your local, trusted insurance agents to help you!
