One Sheep delivered 9 carseats to New Beginnings Mercy House. Praise be to God! May He keep those precious little lambs safe and well protected.

Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

WHERE...Genesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Shiawassee, Washtenaw, and Wayne Counties.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Our appointments are currently limited, and we have many families eager for a chance to visit. We respectfully ask that you prioritize your confirmed appointment. If an emergency arises and you cannot make it, please give us a call as soon as possible at 734-240-2239. Your consideration helps us ensure every family gets the care they need.

Monroe County Reporters : Accumulating snow will expand across SE Michigan during the latter half of the weekend. Potential exists for greater than 4 inches of snow, particularly from metro Detroit southward. Further forecast refinement on accumulation potential expected in the coming days.

For the safety of our volunteers and all traveling, Mercy House will be closed Friday, January 23, 2026.
