We are so grateful for being invited to participate in J.S. Clark Magnet School for Science Day! 🎉
Dr. Washington gave students a fun, behind-the-scenes look at what pharmacists really do... from the moment you leave the doctor’s office to the moment your medication is ready. He taught the students all about medication safety—including why they should never accept candy or medicine from strangers and why they should avoid eating anything that looks like candy, even if they find it at home.
The students enjoyed participating in our "candy vs drugs” challenge! 🍬💊
The students were shocked at how similar some medications look to candy, and it led to powerful conversations about staying safe, asking questions, and always checking with a trusted adult first.
We’re grateful for opportunities like this to educate, inspire, and protect our community’s youth. Thank you, J.S. Clark Magnet School, for inviting Dr. Washington to participate and engage with your amazing students!
👉 Interested in having Dr. Washington bring this lesson to your school, church, or community group? Send us a message—we’d love to help teach medication safety to even more kids!
