Rays of Sonshine ROS is a Women's Addiction Recovery Residence. Lynn Daniel is the Director-CEO-President. Claire White is the Assistant Director.

The website is www.raysofsonshine.com Rays of Sonshine is a non-profit faith-based organization, licensed by the state, accredited by CARF. ROS specializes in quality, long-term residential care and individualized supportive services for women who suffer from substance and chemical dependency, who may also have co-occurring mental health disorders. ROS uses abstinence, evidence, and holistic based treatment in a relaxed, intimate, home atmosphere.It is one of very few facilities in Louisiana that accepts pregnant clients and allows women to bring their children into treatment with them. Rays of Sonshine is partially funded by the state, but the majority of funding comes from private donations.

The zone today, Toys for the families and food for the table. Great efforts by volunteers to prepare the gifts and organize the distribution. Thanks to all who gave towards this project. 160+ families had presents, and 250+ food for Christmas. Over 400 toys were wrapped and given away. What a blessing!!!!!!

Rays of Sonshine and Daniel Ministries thanks our community family, both here and everywhere who have prayed, volunteered, adopted families and sent financial support towards our Christmas children gift drive for over 450 prequalified children…. As of today every child has been adopted and volunteers are finishing the shopping. It is truly a Christmas miracle…. I am beyond words…. Thank you 💟✝️. All family bags are being brought to our warehouse…. Preparing to give out!!!!! Blessings multiplied! May the lord richly bless you with his love and grace this Holy Season…. RAYS OF SONSHINE NEEDS YOUR HELP THIS CHRISTMAS.... Over 350 children (and counting!) have qualified for Christmas Assistance through our bi-weekly public food pantry. To adopt a family. a child, or a number of families (church, business, group...) OR to volunteer (we need help here too!) please call 318-323-0502 or email lynn.daniel@raysofsonshine.com. We will send details of children, of drop-off sites, etc. Deadline to adopt is November 15. Distribution is December 8, 2023
