Earlier today, Dr. Sara Klug and Dr. Laurie LeBleu, stopped by our Vaccine Clinic to get their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Dr. Klug commented, “As someone who focuses on a healthy and preventative lifestyle, I felt my natural immunity would be enough. However, with the surge in cases and the change in the demographics of this variant, I am convinced that receiving the vaccine is the right thing to do for myself and the community.” Dr. LeBleu added, “I try to live my life in the most natural way possible. I consider myself healthy and have had Covid-19. I have antibodies and have used this as an excuse to not get vaccinated. With the current crisis of the pandemic and seeing my patients become more critically ill, I feel that I need to lead by example.” Dr. Klug and Dr. LeBleu are independent OB/GYNs with privileges at St. Francis Medical Center.
