The Gardens at Georgia Tucker is seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to lead our kitchen and enhance the daily dining experience for our residents. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who values quality, consistency, and hospitality, and understands the importance of nutritious, well-prepared meals in a senior living environment.
Responsibilities
β’ Plan, prepare, and oversee daily meals that are high-quality, nutritious, and visually appealing
β’ Develop rotating menus that balance comfort foods with fresh, thoughtful options
β’ Lead and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and daily workflow
β’ Maintain all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
β’ Oversee food ordering, inventory management, and cost control
β’ Accommodate dietary needs, allergies, and special requests
β’ Work closely with leadership to provide an elevated dining experience
Qualifications
β’ Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Cook
β’ Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
β’ Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
β’ Ability to work efficiently in a structured environment
β’ Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus
