Poppy is on the prowl for her forever home! 🐾✨

This 7-week-old spitfire of a kitten is as bold as she is beautiful. Don’t let her stunning long-haired calico coat fool you—this girl has attitude for days. She’ll defend her favorite toy ball with the mightiest of growls and tiny spits… and then climb up to your shoulder so she can properly judge all who stand below her. 😼👑

Poppy LOVES other animals and needs to go to a home with furry playmates. She thrives on having buddies to wrestle, chase, and nap with.

📌 Adoption details:
• Adoption fee: $250
• Will be current on vaccines before going to her new home
• Must go to a home with other animals 🐱🐶

Meet Peabody – your tiny holiday miracle! 🎄❤️

Peabody is a 13-week-old, almost 5 lb dachshund who was born a little different and a whole lot special. He has an adorable nub tail and a cleft palate, but neither of those keep him from living his very best life.

⭐ Peabody’s favorite things:
• Squeaky toys (the louder the better!)
• Playing with dogs big or small
• Trying to play with cats, too 😹
• Burrowing and sleeping inside fluffy blankets
• Loving every single person he meets

Peabody drinks water from a regular bowl, though he does best if it’s slightly elevated. Eating is easy for him as long as his food pieces are bigger than the small cleft in his palate – so he’s totally good to go! 🍽️

This little guy doesn’t know he’s “different” – he just knows he’s loved, playful, and ready for a forever family. 💕

🐾 November is National Pet Diabetes Month! 🐾

Did you know there are two types of diabetes in pets?
💉 Type 1 – more common in dogs, occurs when the body cannot produce enough insulin.
💉 Type 2 – more common in cats, occurs when the body produces insulin but the cells don’t respond effectively.

⚠️ Symptoms to watch for:
• Increased thirst and urination
• Weight loss despite normal or increased appetite
• Lethargy and decreased activity levels

🐕🐈 Risk factor: Obesity is one of the leading causes of diabetes in pets.

If you notice any of these signs or have concerns about your pet’s weight, talk to us! Early diagnosis and treatment make a big difference in keeping your furry family members healthy. ❤️

🚨 Rabies Alert – Hoschton Area 🚨

The Georgia Public Health Laboratory confirmed that a fox found in the Manor Lake Circle area of Hoschton tested positive for rabies on October 14.

Please make sure your pets are up to date on their rabies vaccinations — this simple step protects them and your family.

⚠️ Avoid contact with wild animals that seem sick, unusually friendly, or act “off.”
If you notice any suspicious animal behavior, contact Animal Control or your local Health Department right away.

Your pet’s rabies vaccine is a legal requirement and a vital part of keeping our community safe. 🐾💉

Make sure your pets are vaccinated against rabies.
