We do our best work so our patients can live their best lives. We're proud to bring you some familiar faces who make our hospital community what it is today. Here's what Sarah McMann, ICU Clinical Nurse Manager, has to say about the compassion and excellence she strives to bring to our community members when they're at their most vulnerable.

"I am Sarah McMann and I am the ICU Clinical Nurse Manager. I have been an ICU nurse for 10 years and I have worked at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital for 7 years. I was not born and raised in Monroe, but Monroe is my Home. I chose to, and continue to choose to work at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital because I want to serve the community that I live in. As the ICU Clinical Nurse Manager, my job is to take care of my nurses so that they can provide the best care for our patients. The three tenets that I lead by are quality, integrity, and positivity. The ICU can be a scary and intimidating place for our patients and their families. We strive to always treat every patient like they are our own family members because it might be just another day of work for us, but it could be the worst day of the patient’s life.

One thing that I want the community to know is the high level of care that we can provide here. We have the second highest ICU acuity in the ProMedica System, just below Toledo. We can treat extremely sick patients right here at home, without needing to transfer to a bigger hospital. "
