Satya — Living in Truth
In yoga philosophy, Satya means truthfulness.
But it’s not about harsh honesty or perfection. It’s about living in a way that feels sincere and aligned with who you truly are.
Satya invites us to pause and ask ourselves:
What feels true in this moment?
Maybe the truth is that you’re tired.
Maybe it’s that you need movement, breath, or stillness.
Maybe it’s that you simply need a quiet space to reconnect with yourself.
On the mat, Satya reminds us to practice honestly —
not pushing beyond what the body is ready for,
not comparing ourselves to anyone else,
and allowing our practice to meet us exactly where we are.
Truth in yoga is gentle.
Truth is compassionate.
Truth is listening inward.
Wherever you are today, let your practice be real, steady, and kind.
