Some seasons feel heavy.
Some days feel longer than others.
But this moment? It’s temporary. ❤
Life moves in waves. There are stretches where everything feels aligned… and then there are the hiccups. The important thing isn’t perfection. It’s persistence.
Just keep doing your best.
Not someone else’s best.
Not yesterday’s best.
Your best — today.
Maybe your best looks like showing up to your mat.
Maybe it’s taking one deep breath before reacting.
Maybe it’s simply choosing kindness toward yourself.
Small, steady effort adds up. Growth rarely happens all at once — it happens when we keep returning.
If you’re in a hard moment right now, stay with it. Breathe through it. Move gently. Live fully.
You are stronger than this season.

A few classes are canceled today and tomorrow due to unforeseen circumstances. Please make sure you register for classes, to ensure that the class that you normally attend is still on the schedule this week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

5:30PM~GENTLE YOGA IS CANCELED this evening. It will return next week.

6:00PM~Malissa teaches a free Yoga class every Monday at Frenchtown Township Community and Event Center located at: 2621 N Dixie Hwy, Monroe, MI 48162
No registration is required for this class. Just show up.

It’s okay to get off track.
Life isn’t a straight line. It’s a series of little hiccups… missed routines, distracted days, moments where we feel upside down or out of sync. That doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re human.
What matters most isn’t perfection — it’s return.

Return to your breath.
Return to what feels true.
Return to what is important to you.
Every time you come back, you build strength.
Every time you begin again, you grow wiser.
Every time you step back onto your mat, you practice resilience.
Yoga teaches us that progress isn’t about never wobbling — it’s about steadying yourself again and again with compassion.

So if you’ve drifted… come back.
If you’ve paused… begin again.
If you’ve forgotten… remember who you are.
Get back on your mat.
Your practice is still there.
And so are you. 🤍

Not to judge what we find there.
Not to force change.
But simply to see… gently, honestly, with compassion.

When awareness meets tightness, it softens.
When breath meets holding, it releases.
When kindness meets the places we’ve ignored, healing quietly begins.

Yoga reminds us that nothing inside us is broken—
only waiting to be met with presence and care.

“Not all of us can do great things.
But we can do small things with great love.”

Thankful for these humans and the opportunity to serve a meal to those in need. To everyone who showed up last night, I appreciate you so much.

At times, it seems like people in this world are turning against each other over the smallest things.

Although we might not have made a huge difference yesterday in the scheme of the world, it sure did feel good to unite with others , help others, and embody love.

Self-love isn’t something we earn someday… it’s something we practice, gently, right here in this moment.

It’s showing up for yourself even when you feel tired.

It’s choosing a deep breath instead of self-criticism.

It’s moving your body with kindness instead of pressure.

On the mat, we remember that we are already enough — not when we’re more flexible, stronger, or calmer… but exactly as we are today.

Be kind to yourself. ❤️
