As March comes to an end, take a moment to notice how far you’ve come… not just in what you’ve done, but in how you’ve shown up.

Maybe you made it to your mat more.
Maybe you slowed your breath, even once.
Maybe you simply kept going on a day it felt hard.
That counts. It all counts.

Yoga reminds us that growth isn’t always loud or visible. Sometimes it’s quiet… subtle… a soft shift inward.

Before stepping into a new month, pause.
Breathe.
Acknowledge yourself.
You are allowed to be a work in progress and proud of where you are.

We’re so excited to welcome Renee Hollister to the Mindful Movement Yoga community.

Renee Hollister is a sound and energy practitioner whose work is centered around helping people reconnect with their bodies through nervous system regulation, sound, and stillness. Her approach is gentle, grounded, and deeply supportive—creating a space where there’s nothing to “get right”… only an opportunity to slow down and begin trusting your internal experience again.
In her sessions, you’ll be guided out of the constant busyness of the mind and into a more present, regulated state—one that allows for true rest and restoration. Renee works from the belief that your body already holds the wisdom it needs… sometimes we just need space to listen.

As a Usui Reiki Master with training in sound facilitation and meditation, she brings both structure and intuition into her offerings—making her classes accessible whether you’re brand new or already have an established practice.

I've heard people tell me, “I can’t do yoga—I’m not flexible enough.” But the truth is, yoga isn’t about touching your toes… it’s about what you learn on the way down.

Yoga meets you exactly where you are—whether you’re stiff from long work days, tight from stress, or just looking for a moment to breathe. With consistent practice, flexibility does come—but so does so much more:

Kellee is a local chiropractor and has been a group fitness instructor for over 14 years. She brings a deep passion for caring for the body—from the muscles you feel all the way down to the skeletal structure that supports you. Her approach is rooted in one powerful belief: proper movement is the key to preventing injury and staying active for life.

Join us for a FREE class on Tuesday, April 7th at 10:00 AM.

Sometimes the wound was never yours to carry.

It may have come from another’s words, another’s actions, or moments life placed on your path without your permission.
And still… the healing is yours.

In yoga, we don’t practice to erase what happened—we practice to meet it.
To sit with what is, without turning away.
To breathe into the tight spaces.
To soften where we once armored ourselves.

Healing is not about blame.
It is about choice.
Each time you step onto your mat, you choose awareness over avoidance.
You choose compassion over criticism.
You choose to tend to your inner world with care, patience, and truth.

The wound may not be your fault…
but the way you nurture your healing becomes your power.

Life has a way of turning everything upside down when we least expect it. One moment things feel steady… and the next, it’s like the ground shifts beneath your feet.

But just because life feels uncertain right now doesn’t mean it will stay that way.
Sometimes the disruption is the invitation.
A gentle nudge to pause, to look at things from a new perspective, to release what no longer fits, and to grow into something stronger, wiser, and more aligned.
What feels like chaos may actually be redirection.
What feels like loss may be making space.
Trust your instincts.
They are your quiet inner compass, always guiding you back to yourself—even when everything around you feels unfamiliar.
This moment is not your forever.
It’s just a turning point.

Letting go of what we don’t need to carry.
Letting go of comparison, of control, of the stories that keep us feeling stuck.

We often hold on tightly—
to things, to expectations, to how we think life should look.
But peace is found in the softening… in the release.

Today, ask yourself:
~What can I loosen my grip on?
~ What would it feel like to trust, just a little more?

You don’t need to hold everything together.
You don’t need to carry it all.
There is freedom in enough.
There is lightness in letting go.
We are rooting for you. ❤

It’s not about restriction…
It’s about awareness.
How are you spending your energy—physically, mentally, emotionally?

Brahmacharya reminds us that our energy is sacred.
When we use it with intention, we create space for what truly matters.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️

There is a beautiful Irish blessing:
“May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rains fall soft upon your fields.”

Yoga reminds us that life’s path isn’t something we force… it’s something we learn to walk with presence. When we slow down, breathe, and move with awareness, we begin to notice that the road really does rise to meet us.

Today, may your steps be steady, your breath be deep, and your heart open to the quiet blessings already around you. ☘️

In yoga philosophy, Satya means truthfulness.
But it’s not about harsh honesty or perfection. It’s about living in a way that feels sincere and aligned with who you truly are.

Satya invites us to pause and ask ourselves:
What feels true in this moment?
Maybe the truth is that you’re tired.
Maybe it’s that you need movement, breath, or stillness.
Maybe it’s that you simply need a quiet space to reconnect with yourself.

On the mat, Satya reminds us to practice honestly —
not pushing beyond what the body is ready for,
not comparing ourselves to anyone else,
and allowing our practice to meet us exactly where we are.

Truth in yoga is gentle.
Truth is compassionate.
Truth is listening inward.

Wherever you are today, let your practice be real, steady, and kind.
