There is a big misconception about a methylated multi vitamin. Only a few can actually be in that form.
Methylated vitamins are forms of certain B vitamins that your body can use more easily, especially if you have trouble with methylation (like with an MTHFR gene mutation). The main ones include 5-MTHF, which is the methylated form of folate (vitamin B9), and methylcobalamin, the methylated form of vitamin B12. These skip the usual conversion steps your body would have to do. Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P5P) is the active form of vitamin B6 not methylated, but it helps the methylation process. Same with Riboflavin-5-Phosphate, the active form of vitamin B2, which supports the enzymes involved. Betaine (also called TMG) comes from choline and acts as a methyl donor too. These forms help your body with things like energy, mood, detox, and brain function.
