Discover Chiropractic has been located in Monroe for over 20 years. The original Chiropractor was Dr. Kevin Bates, D.C. . He sold Discover Chiropractic in September 2017 to Dr. Philip Kogler, D.C. . Dr. Kogler is excited for this new chiropractic journey. Prior to owning Discover, Dr. Kogler was the owner of Interurban Chiropractic in Tukwla, WA. After 7 years of serving Tukwila he sold the practice in June of 2018 to his former associate.
Like many of our patients who step foot into Discover Chiropractic, Dr. Kogler has had the unfortunate experience of severe low back pain. Chiropractic was found to be the only treatment that truly made a difference; however, due to advanced degeneration in the low back, surgery was ultimately the only option which resulted in the fusion of L5 and S1. After a previous career in the dental profession and a long history of chronic low back pain, Dr. Kogler attended the prestigious Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA where he graduated Cum Laude.
With Gonstead being the one technique to produce the best results for Dr. Kogler and his family, he chose to narrow his focus on this one method of delivering care to his family and patients. With 300+ hours of continuing education through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and Webster certified, Dr. Kogler adjusts expectant mothers, as well as kids, and even newborns. Dr. Kogler also has the honor of being married to his wife, Sarah, and father of their two sons John and Zachary. In his spare time he enjoys long bike rides and has participated in the Fred Hutch Obliteride the past few years to raise funds for Cancer Research.
