Have you ever taken an online cooking class before?

A lot of people are surprised by how fun they are.

Everyone logs in from their own kitchen, we cook the same meal together step by step, and by the end of class everyone is sitting down with a full plate of food they made themselves.

These photos are from some of the classes we’ve done together over the years. Real people, real kitchens, real food.

This Sunday we’re making crispy cauliflower tacos with avocado, cabbage, lime, and a smoky chipotle sauce.

If you’ve been wanting to learn a few new plant-based meals or just want a fun way to spend a Sunday evening, come cook with us.

Important question.

If someone texted you and said “taco night?”
Who are you immediately inviting over?

Tag them below because next Sunday we’re making these crispy cauliflower tacos together in my live cooking class and they are ridiculously good.

Golden crispy cauliflower, avocado, lime, cabbage, and a smoky sauce that somehow makes everyone go back for another taco… and then another.

If you’ve never joined one of these classes before, they’re a lot of fun. We cook, we laugh, and by the end of the night everyone has a plate of tacos in front of them.

Honestly one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday evening.

If this sounds like your kind of night, come cook with us.

Sunday, March 15 • 6 PM Eastern

Cooking classes are back!

This Sunday we’re making crispy cauliflower tacos with a smoky adobo sauce and I would love for you to cook along with me.

If you’ve never taken one of my online classes before, here’s how it works. We’re all in our own kitchens cooking the recipe together while I walk you through it step by step. We talk about the health benefits of the meal, share kitchen tips, answer questions, and usually have quite a few laughs along the way.

By the end of the class you’ve got dinner on the table and a recipe you’ll know how to make again anytime.

It’s funny how much making sourdough teaches you about life.

You mix the ingredients, do the work, and then you wait. You can’t rush the rise. You just have to trust the process.

Some days the dough cooperates. Some days it doesn’t. But every loaf teaches you something.

Small steps. Patience. Consistency.

Eventually, it rises.

These chocolate tahini protein bites taste like a brownie and have about 5g of plant protein each.

They work for breakfast, mid-day snacks, or dessert when you want something sweet and still support your gut health.

I used organic vegan chocolate protein for this recipe. It delivers 20g of plant protein per serving, includes probiotics for gut support, and has clean, organic ingredients with no added sugar or gums.

If you’ve been here a while, you know clean ingredients and gut health matter to me, so probiotics in a clean protein powder definitely earns extra points.

Get the full recipe on my blog: https://www.solfoodcollective.com/post/chocolate-tahini-protein-bites

The link to the EarthChimp protein powder and my 10% code SOLFOOD10 are included in that post as well.

Gifted product. Not sponsored.

I have to talk about these tacos!

We’re making Crispy Cauliflower Tacos with Smoky Chipotle Adobo Sauce live on Zoom on March 15 at 6 PM Eastern and I cannot wait.

The cauliflower gets perfectly crisp, the chipotle adobo sauce is smoky and creamy with just the right kick, and the whole thing comes together in a way that makes you forget meat or cheese were ever part of the conversation.

That’s the kind of plant-based meal I care about!

We’re cooking it step by step together. I’ll walk you through how to build real flavor and texture so your meals actually hit and still support your gut and lower inflammation.

When you sign up, you’ll get the full recipe, grocery list, kitchen supply list, and the replay so you can make them again whenever you want.

Come cook with me.

At 45, I did not think this is where I would be, but here I am. I try to make the best of it, and one way I do that is through cooking. No matter where I am in life, the kitchen is always home.

I grew up cooking with my grandma and my mom, so getting back in the kitchen with her to host this dinner party felt nostalgic in the best way.

Life does not always unfold the way we imagine it will, but I am grateful for these moments, these memories, and this laughter.

The new video is up, and I hope you will give it a watch.

Chronic pain is not something I get to ignore.

I live with an autoimmune disease, which means I have to be intentional about how I support my body every single day.

One habit I have stayed consistent with is drinking a green juice daily. It is a simple way to get more micronutrients in, support my gut, and stay proactive instead of reactive.

Over time, that consistency has made a noticeable difference in how I manage pain.

If you live with chronic pain, you already know that small daily habits matter more than dramatic overhauls.

Green juice recipe is on solfoodcollective.com.

this might be one of the healthiest treats you can give your dog.

plain green beans are low in calories, high in fiber, and full of vitamins like a, c, and k.

always serve them plain. no salt, butter, or seasoning.

would your dog eat these?

I very rarely buy vegetable broth.

I save my vegetable scraps, simmer them, and make my own. No additives. Lower sodium. Better for digestion. Way more flavor.

Full vegetable broth tutorial is in my latest YouTube video:

SolFood Collective

The Collective was started by Chef Jacquelyn Jones, featured on the Food Network, and founder of Starving and Single to bring people together to share a beautiful afternoon of self love, self care, and connection. It embodies a variety of teachers and healers to help you connect your mind, body, soul, and spirit. Jacquelyn and the teachers strongly believe in the power of making the connection between the mind and belly and want to share with others how to do so. When the mind and belly are connected, the body can live in balance. To help you make the connection, we start off with a yoga and meditation class, followed by a three course plant-based meal prepared by Chef Jacquelyn. All produce is organic, non-gmo, and sourced from our local farmers, and the meals are made from scratch. What we put into our bodies is as important as how we take care of our minds. Just as food is medicine and can prevent and cure disease, meditation can change the structure of your brain. We at the Collective focus on teaching you how to make the connection and live a balanced life. When you spend the afternoon with us, you'll relax your mind, move your body, and fill your belly with a plant-based meal. Chef Jacquelyn shares her story on how she healed herself using food as medicine, explains the nutritional advantage in each dish served, and sends you off with a tasty gift and recipe card. It's a luxurious experience you don't want to miss.
