We are proud to celebrate an exciting achievement for our Chief Director of BDS, Scott Lepley.

Scott has been elected by licensed behavior analysts across Louisiana and appointed by the Governor to serve on the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board for a 4-year term.

In this role, he will help guide licensure, ethical standards, and the quality of care provided to individuals and families across our state.

We are grateful to have leaders like Scott who are committed to strengthening services and making a lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Did you know March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month? 🧡

Established in 1987 by President Ronald Reagan, this month is dedicated to raising awareness and encouraging communities to recognize the strengths and potential of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Developmental disabilities can affect movement, learning, communication, and daily living skills. In fact, about 1 in 6 children in the United States has a developmental disability.

Early support through physical, occupational, and speech therapy can help children strengthen important developmental skills, improve independence, and build confidence in everyday activities.

During Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, we celebrate the unique abilities of every child and continue working toward more inclusive communities.

Pediatric Therapy – Holiday Transition Post

The holidays have a way of throwing routines off track. One minute kids are on a schedule and the next it’s late nights, new toys, and lots of snacks 😅
That post holiday reset is real for families.

December 1–26 🎁 routines flowing, skills growing
December 27–31 🧦 tired bodies, busy brains, fueled by cheese 🧀

Our pediatric therapy teams support children as they rebuild routines, strengthen skills, and ease back into daily life through occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy.
