Meet Cynthia Mays, where coaching meets heart. 💙

For 8 years, Cynthia has been a force in the Special Olympics Louisiana community. From leading her team to 1st place at the 2023 District Basketball Tournament in New Orleans to treating every athlete like family, she brings passion, patience, and purpose to the court and beyond.

"I call them my babies," says Cynthia. "I treat them no differently than my own children. That's what coaching is all about."

Her journey began at Care Solutions, where she was "initated" into coaching in 2017 after becoming a supervisor.
