It’s been quite a while since my last post…life has certainly went in a lot of crazy directions!! After suffering through our car accident last year, shoulder surgery, PT, a pandemic, another shoulder surgery, more PT… yikes! As we come to today, I have ventured into another career path. I do miss dental and seeing all of you, but my journey has taken me on a different direction. That being said, I would love to refer those of you that had followed me to Frenchtown Smiles to see their newest dental hygiene addition… Stacie Ruettinger Ciacelli
Stacie is one of my best friends and she is an amazing hygienist!! She will take excellent care of you, and she’s much nicer than I am 😉
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you that put your trust in me to take care of you and your families. I miss catching up with you all every 6 months, but we can always meet up without it including dental floss😎

Hello! I hope everyone is doing well!! As I’m sure most of you have heard, the Governor has approved the opening of dental offices for non emergency care starting May 29. Frenchtown Smiles will be opening that day and Dr. Lambert and my other Smiles team members are following all CDC, OSHA, Michigan Dental Association and American Dental Association recommendations to keep everyone safe and healthy. As many of you recall, I was in a car accident in March and unfortunately I will not be recovered enough to return yet. I have been doing physical therapy 3-4 days a week and although my therapist thinks I’m making great strides, it is an incredibly SLOW process. At this time I do not have an anticipated return date 😞 Many of you have reached out saying that you will be fine to wait for me to return,  although I find your loyalty to be overwhelming and humbling , I cannot in good conscience ask you to jeopardize your dental and possibly overall health waiting for me to return. When I started physical therapy 5 weeks ago, my therapist told me it could be a 6 to 12 month process...of course I think she is wrong (😂) however, my shoulder certainly agrees with her.  I do not have the strength, range of motion, or function at this point to even think about returning.. I still have a long road ahead of me to get back function. I thank you for your continued prayers and well wishes, and I urge you to seek your routine cleaning appointments when you as individuals are comfortable to do so- my coworkers will take great care of you. I hope to see you soon!!

Hello friends- just wanted to give an update on my current situation. My family and I were in an auto accident on Sunday- my children, brother and dad are ok. I broke AND dislocated my shoulder. I have an appointment later today with the orthopedic surgeon. They told me I should expect to be out several weeks... I’m sorry for the inconvenience this has caused for those of you with upcoming appointments. 😞 I’ll keep you posted and will be speaking with Dr. Lambert in regards to finding spaces to reschedule you once I get confirmation from the surgeon. Again, I’m so sorry for the inconvenience

We spent a beautiful day in southern Maine today ( lobster rolls are not beautiful lol🤮) getting a reboot for the soul before starting my new job at Frenchtown Smiles in Monroe in August. Every day I get a new text or phone call from past patients... it makes a girl feel loved, and it broadens my sense of humor from some of the tales being told... no I’m not sick, no I’m not out for the day, no I didn’t take a full time job out of town, no I’m not working full time at the funeral home and no, I didn’t retire😂😂
