Community Health Services of Union County is a free clinic and we also offer wellness program services.

Community Health Services of Union County's mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care to Union & Anson Counties in NC and Lancaster & Chesterfield in SC residents living with diabetes, high blood pressure, and other chronic diseases. We go out into the community and do health screenings which consist of Blood pressures, blood sugars, hemoglobin and cholesterol. In the fall we also go out in the community and administer flu vaccinations. Community Health has an emergency prescription assistance program. We see Union County and Anson County Residents that qualify for our medical services.

Morning sun exposure increases serotonin, the feel-good hormone that later converts into melatonin, promoting better rest. Just 5 to 10 minutes outdoors (no sunglasses if safe for your eyes) can do more for your day than a cup of coffee!

Roseanne Mull has been a volunteer for CHSUC Free Clinic for over 20 years. She began helping with flu vaccine clinics when the office was located in the United Way building in downtown Monroe, NC. Later she began to help in the office doing data entry on the computer where she remains today.

She is a Mother of 4 children and has several grandchildren she enjoys spending time with. In addition to her family and church, she enjoys reading and watching “Who Dun It?” programs on TV.

“It has been my pleasure to be of service to the Free Clinic and has been a blessing to work with the staff who are always kind and grateful. One of the perks of volunteering is you are appreciated!”

Meet Terry Boyle, our dedicated Administrative Assistant and Health Information Manager, who has been part of our clinic family for 15 years.

Terry gathers, organizes, and analyzes the services provided by our physicians, PAs, nurses, and medical staff — preparing detailed reports that help guide the clinic’s ongoing impact in the community.

She chose to work at Community Health Services of Union County because “giving a voice to the voiceless is a way to walk through life with a sense of purpose.” For Terry, CHSUC’s mission to make a difference is deeply personal and close to her heart.

When she’s not at the clinic, you can find her enjoying time with her church, family, and a good book.
