Students of all ages at Monroe Alliance Church Child Care Center created Valentine's Day cards for the residents and patients at Seacrest Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Included were notes sharing reminders of God's love for each of us. Seacrest's staff were delighted to receive the cards to share with those they care for. ❤️

It was such a pleasure for me to deliver the 130 Thanksgiving Day cards to the residents of Fountain View of Monroe. The children have been working hard on them, crafting in small details. The staff of Fountain View were eager to share with those these were intended.

Once again, our program is so grateful for the wonderful staff from the Monroe County Health Department - Michigan https://www.facebook.com/MCHDMichigan for coming in to provide hearing & vision screenings to our 3 and 4 year old students.
Early screening is especially important for vision, as this is the age when detection of conditions like amblyopia (lazy eye) can be identified. Since their eye muscles are still developing, early detection allows for timely intervention, which can significantly improve outcomes.
