This week has been long and hard. So many times, we keep pushing through exhausted, short-tempered, and trying to do all the things. This week was a reminder that not only can we not pour from an empty cup, but sometimes the stress we carry can spill onto those we love the most, making them feel unseen, unheard, and disconnected.
Self-care isn’t a single bath or reaching for a roller in a moment of stress. Self-care is making time to show up for yourself consistently, in ways that create space to breathe, to remember who you are, and to recognize just how precious this life, and the people in it, truly are.
Self-care is NOT pushing past your limits.
Self-care is NOT making sure everything runs perfectly.
Self-care is NOT beating yourself up when you fall short.
This weekend, I invite you to pause. Journal. Take a walk. Practice yoga. Create a moment to reflect on what you need in this season of life and how you can begin showing up for yourself.
Self-care is not selfish—it’s necessary, for both your own well-being and for those you love most.
