💊 Meet Lea Klingenbeck, Co-Owner of Carmichael’s Vital Care!
We asked Lea a few questions about our Vital Care Pharmacy and what drives her passion for compounding. Here’s what she had to say.

✨ What are you most passionate about in your work?
“I am passionate about solving problems for our prescribers and patients. There is nothing more rewarding than developing a formulation that improves someone’s quality of life. Whether it’s a newborn with reflux, someone suffering from shingles pain, or a patient seeking relief through hormone replacement therapy, we work closely with prescribers to create customized solutions.”

✨ What makes Carmichael’s Vital Care special?
“We are fortunate to work in a highly collaborative environment with multiple pharmacists and a strong support staff. Having a team of experienced pharmacists (most of whom are working moms) creates a culture of mentorship, shared knowledge, and mutual support. We challenge each other, learn from one another, and celebrate each other’s growth.”

✨ What role does your team play in patient care?
“Our technicians, delivery staff, and support team are equally essential. The level of service we provide is a direct reflection of the people behind it. Excellence in patient care is always a team effort!”

✨ Tell us a little about life outside the pharmacy.
“I’ve been married since 2007. We have a son who will be six this year and a miniature schnauzer named Kate. I love spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, and being outside. Needlepoint is my favorite creative outlet, and I enjoy listening to music, audiobooks, or podcasts, and playing Minecraft or building LEGO sets with my son.”
