Our first two days of art therapy have been so much fun and full of meaningful moments 💜

We kicked things off with affirmation mirrors 🪞—decorating them while talking about all the things we love about ourselves. Each child added their own affirmations so they have something to look at (and say to themselves!) whenever they need a confidence boost.

Today was all about our worry monsters 👾 We created them and “fed” them our worries, opening up conversations about big feelings and ways to cope when they show up. We also played a round of feelings jeopardy, and the kids absolutely nailed expressing different emotions!

Tomorrow, we’re diving into feeling wheels to explore and understand the wide range of emotions we experience every day.

🔌 POWER OUTAGE 🔌

We are experiencing a power outage in the office that is not due to be restored until at least 9 PM. Due to this - all groups are CANCELLED this evening.

Our clinicians have reached out but if you dID not get our message - we are so sorry for the inconvenience!

No matter what this week held for you, you made it through. You handled the hard moments, soaked in the good ones and maybe let yourself have a few needed cries (no judgment - I had about five).
