It isn't just those living with an addiction that need support. Family members often need support while living around active addiction and even when a loved one is new to living without the drug/substance.
That support can come from different places, like a therapist or 12 Step Recovery programs like AA, Al-Anon, NA and Nar-Anon.

The Administration for Community Living managed money for home-delivered meals, in-home aide services, transportation assistance, housing and home improvements that allow people to remain in their communities, long-term care ombudsmen and congregate nutrition sites.
All of these services play a role in mental health, especially for older Americans and those living with disabilities.
This organization is being dissolved into other parts of DHHS.
