Yesterday our social work Elf Marena visited residents at Monroe Manor and joined them for the resident Christmas party. It was a special afternoon of joy and celebration. Thanks Monroe Manor for letting us be a part of the festivities!

This morning our hospice social worker had the opportunity to spread Christmas cheer to the residents of Englewood Nursing Home. It was a great time filled with smiles and joy!

The hospice elves are busy delivering gifts for our patients this week! We can’t wait to see how excited our patients will be getting gifts from the community. Thank you everyone who adopted a patient. It is a very special moment when a patient knows they are remembered at Christmas.

Hospice of Monroe County participated in Monroe Manor’s Trunk or Treat today by handing out cookies to trick or treaters. It was a great event! Thanks Monroe Manor for letting us be part of the fun.

Today we surprised our social work intern Brittany with a party because today is her last day with us. She has been such a joy to have with us and we know she will be an excellent social worker. Help us wish Brittany good luck as she finishes her courses and graduates.
