Abode Employee Christmas Luncheon 2025 was a wonderful celebration of togetherness and gratitude! 🎄⛄ Our staff gathered to enjoy delicious food and take time to relax, connect, and celebrate the holiday season together. A heartfelt thank you to Amedisys Hospice, Bridges Hospice, Heartland, Transitions Hospice, Monarch Hospice, Suncrest Hospice, Gallagher Home Health & Hospice, Commonwealth Hospice, and Dr. Ken Gibson for their incredibly generous donations—your support truly made this day extra special! ❤️💚❤️💚

Abode’s Holiday Cookies & Cocoa Party was full of warmth and cheer! 🍪☕ Patti home-baked every cookie with love, and the hot chocolate bar was definitely the crowd favorite. From Christmas to Hanukkah cookies, it was a true Merry Mingle—with music, laughter, and pure JOY filling the room. The smiles say it all… a wonderful time was had by all! ✨❤️

The residents enjoyed a joyful afternoon of Christmas caroling together! From Walking in a Winter Wonderland to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ( 😉) and Up on the Housetop — this one will definitely go down in Abode historrrryyyy!

Staff and residents’ families joined in the fun, and Patti added extra cheer with cookies and juice for everyone. What a heartwarming celebration! ❤️

Gingerbread Boss — aka Gingerbread Wars — took over Abode Care of Monroeville! 🍬🏠

It was Team Carrie vs. Team Ray, with each team given 40 minutes to build and decorate their best gingerbread creation for ultimate community bragging rights until next year!

With three judges casting their votes, Team Ray was crowned the winner 🎉—but Team Carrie did an amazing job as well! Residents loved watching the creativity, teamwork, and camaraderie during this friendly competition. Spectators even enjoyed a few Hershey’s Kisses as the magic of Christmas sparked warm holiday memories.

A heartfelt thank you to Transitions Hospice and Amedisys Hospice for generously donating the gingerbread kits for our residents.
