Thacker Caskets is a family owned business that makes and sells our products in the USA.

Our manufacturing plant is located in Florence, AL and from there it distributes the products to our warehouses located throughout the east coast. Founded in 1939 as a small casket jobber located in the heart of Washington, D.C., Thacker Caskets has grown to become the largest family owned casket company in the United States! Thacker employs a business to business selling model, selling caskets to licensed funeral directors throughout the east coast and independent casket distributors from coast to coast. Keeping true to their principals, Thacker aims to provide an honest product at an honest price. Thacker Casket Manufacturing, located in Florence, Alabama, employs approximately 200 Alabama and Tennessee workers who carefully craft Thacker's metal casket line. The manufacturing division of the company, Thacker Casket Manufacturing, has allowed the company to bring innovative products to the market that are right for today's constantly changing business landscape. Thacker is a true family business that embodies the same ideals of many of its family owned and operate customers. An esteemed manufacturing division, sales staff, and customer service team support three generations of Thacker's who currently work for the business. Thacker's rich history in the funeral industry and expert staff create an easy customer experience.
