Let Freedom Ring!

Today the team of Resilience Therapy rejoices as we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his committment to equality and dignity for all.

"Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our souls when we look the other way."
-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Let his dream be our continued vision and our continued committment. Never give up.

Almost Full β€” Resilience Winter 2026 Programs Start January 12

We are excited to announce that our Winter Programs are close to full. This cohort still has spots open, and referrals are being accepted now.

Resilience DBT & Eating Recovery offers treatment in two specialized tracks: Eating Disorder Recovery and Mental Health Resiliency. Our clinician-led treatment groups are designed for young adults and college students, providing structured and evidence-based support during a demanding academic period.

Our Eating Disorder Recovery Track includes DBT Skills Groups for Eating Disorders and our new Breaking Up with ED Seminar. These recovery-focused groups integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and CBT-E to address the emotional and cognitive patterns that maintain eating disorder symptoms.

Our Mental Health Resiliency Track offers weekly DBT Skills Groups, Mindfulness-Based Stress Management, and Expressive Arts Therapies to support emotional regulation, stress reduction, and overall psychological well-being.

Early engagement in treatment at this point in the semester can significantly reduce symptom escalation and help prevent academic disruption.

Weekly daytime and evening groups begin January 12.
Online treatment is available for students in NJ, NY, FL, MD, VA, MA, and VT.

Wishing you a Happy Hanukkah!

Hannukah, otherwise known as the "Festival of Lights", is a holiday that reminds us that light will sustain us... through darkness and difficult times.

These joyous eight nights offer us a space to slow down, reconnect with what grounds you, and honor the resilience you carry. May this time bring peace, warmth, and a renewed sense of hope as you continue caring for yourself and for others, with compassion.

Hanukkah means "Dedication". At Resilience Therapy, we have a 30-year dedication to supporting our individuals and families to find full recovery and renewed wellness from Eating Disorder and Mental Health struggles. Our positive outcomes support this dedication.

Hanukkah is also a celebration of identity and core values, showing us that the Wise Mind choices and positive coping skills we make and use today can sustain us and fulfill us in years to come.

Don't Let the Light Go Out
They Lasted for So Many Years
Don't Let the Light Go Out,
Let it Shine thru our Love and our Tears

Happy Hanukkah to all! May light always triumph over darkness.

Let peace, love, and community light up our lives and protect us.

Peace around the world.

Body-checking can feel automatic β€” scanning mirrors, pinching, measuring, and self-scrutinizing. But in DBT, we teach the opposite action: gently choosing the opposite of what ED urges.

πŸ‚ Our DBT-ED Skills Groups help clients practice opposite action, breaking free from harmful habits and building self-compassion.

πŸ‚ We are thrilled to announce our comprehensive Resilience DBT-ED
Fall Programs for Adolescents, Young Adults, and Adult Men & Women.
